Let’s see the US Army do THIS with an Abrams

Good day all, It’s the Angry Systems Administrator. It’s been a while and I thought you might be rather tired with the Clown Prince of Empty Chairs Angry Webmaster’s constant tirades. So I thought I would post this little video found on YouTube.

What we have here, is a man crank starting an antique vehicle. Now this in and of its self isn’t unusual. What is a bit unusual is what kind of vehicle this is. It is a World War 2 German Mark VI Tiger Tank.

Yeah, I would like to see that done to an M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. They are close in tonnage after all. I think there may be 3-5 Tigers in running condition today, all in museums. They only made 1300 of these things and even fewer of the “King Tiger.” Ok, The M1 uses a gas turbine engine, not a piston engine, but I’m sure that’s just a small and easily worked out detail.

What do you think? I bet Will Hayden and his minions at Red Jacket would love to get that old 88 firing too.

  2. No you can’t keep it. I don’t care if it “followed you home.” Do you know how much it costs to feed one of those things? And if you expect ME to clean up after it makes a mess of the office….
