Petraeus throws Obama under his tank

Good day all. I was busy yesterday so I’m a bit late with this. As you know, unless you read the New York Times, Washington Post or watch CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN, our consulate was attacked by Al Qaeda on September 11^th. For weeks, the Obama administration lied, denied and stonewalled any investigations into what happened.

Of course, things came out. In this case, Fox News broke a major story that pretty much blew all of the lies coming out of the Administration clear out of the water. The story showed that Obama was fully apprised of what was happening and when requests started coming in from the CIA operators in a nearby safe house for air support, Obama refused to allow it.

Within hours of the story breaking, the Administration started their usual circling of the wagons. Secretary for defense Leon Panetta ((Leon E. Panetta)) said the reason no air support or any other military units were sent was due to a “Lack of intelligence” on what was happening on the ground. The Administration then started trying to blame the CIA for the problems.

Well, it looks like CIA director and retired general David Petraeus ((David H. Petraeus)) is having none of that. The Central Intelligence Agency out out the following statement in a blanket reply that they turned down requests for help from their operators on the ground in Benghazi:

“We can say with confidence that the Agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi. Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. In fact, it is important to remember how many lives were saved by courageous Americans who put their own safety at risk that night—and that some of those selfless Americans gave their lives in the effort to rescue their comrades.”

That sound you heard was Obama’s bus being crushed under General Petraeus’s tank. Since the initial report by Jennifer Griffin, more details have come out. First, the CIA sent in a ground team to Benghazi as quickly as they could. (Remember that the CIA is NOT a military force, and their resources are limited) One of the two SEALS killed was on that relief force. Second, there was a quick reaction force at Sigonella Naval Air Station that included AC-130 gunships as well as fighters and that they were ready to go. Those aircraft could have been overhead in about 90 minutes, and since the attacks went on for about 7 hours, they would have had plenty of time to get on station and blast the Al Qaeda terrorists into small pieces.

On Friday afternoon, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and someone called in who appears to have first hand knowledge of how the system is supposed to work ((Transcript of call with Doug in San Antonio)). He basically walked Rush through the process, and showed that there is no way Obama could not have known what was happening. The requests for help would have been given to him and only he could have issued the orders to stand down. Here is the money quote from the caller:

I’m giving you a lot of Inside Baseball stuff, and maybe putting myself in a little peril by doing it, but the In-Extremis Force, they would have been chomping at the bit to do this. It was turned down, POTUS, at his five p.m. Eastern time meeting with the principals, that’s when he put the kibosh on everything. It was a conscious act.

Read the entire transcript. From what this caller said, the information would have been placed directly into Obama’s hands. The response forces, the “In-Extremis” force was ready to go as soon as they heard about the attacks, and were only waiting for the “GO” command. Obama would have been the one to issue the No-Go order and issue the Stand Down orders. (An order disobeyed by Tyrone Woods and others on site)

Other reports indicate that when the CIA relief force arrived at the safe house, they didn’t have enough transport for everyone there. They had not been told that Woods and the others had, on their own initiative, gone in and rescued the consulate staff. (They weren’t able to find Ambassador Stevens)

Obama and his people have been lying from day one. There is only one reason for this. They do not want to stop Islamic terrorists. Deep down, Obama supports their goals and has been doing what he can to push them along. Obama and his inner circle despise the country they are running. They hate the constitution they SWORE an oath to support, defend and protect, and everything this country stands for. Look at the history.

First, the incompetent Secretary for Homeland Security announces that there will no further references to terrorist attacks. Instead, they will be referred to as “Man caused disasters.” Then, when Nidal Malik opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people, all while screaming “Allah Ackbar” the Obama administration referred to it, (and continues to do so), as an incident of workplace violence. There have been a number of other incidents, all of them either referred to as anything but Islamic Terrorism.

Rather than working to protect Americans, this administration considers Americans to be the true threat and has been issuing instructions to various agencies to keep an eye on conservative groups, (Such as the Tea Party), gun owners and returning military veterans. Well. We know what the Obama regime’s priorities are now.

General Petraeus was brought into the CIA when Panetta moved over to the Defense Dept. It was seen by a few people as an attempt to show that Obama really does care about defending the country. I suspect that they promptly moved to minimize Petraeus’s role and use him as a scapegoat for the inevitable “Man caused disasters” that would happen. To bad for them that Petraeus obviously knew this going in and has been quietly working to do his sworn duty. When Obama’s minions tried to throw him under the bus, Petraeus fired back and rolled over them with his tank. It couldn’t happen to a nice bunch of scumbags.

I suspect that General Petraeus will be asked to stay on under the Romney administration. He is a loyal, patriotic American who has a long history of trying to do right by those under his command. When he had his public relations people release the statement that the stand down order did NOT come from the CIA, he showed his people that he would do whatever he had to in order to protect them. Obama has shown the military and the intelligence community that he doesn’t care what happens to them as long as he can get some sort of political benefit from it.

Come January, President Romney is going to have to do some serious house cleaning to purge the stench of this pile of goat poo from Washington. If he has the stones for it, perhaps Obama’s retirement address will be this one.
