Ebates

Somehow Ebates managed to install itself on my hard drive and now I can't even get rid of it. I never joined them and certainly never downloaded any of their software. It drives me crazy because now I get all these pop-up ads from Save Now which is affiliated with Ebates. Even my pop-up stopper can't stop these from popping up in my face and I am absolutely furious about it. These companies should be forced out of business on the net for their intrusion on people who don't want anything to do with them.

Do a search on spybot and ad-aware. These are two applications designed to find and remove adware and spyware. The webmaster has used them to great effect at his place of employment. Links to these sites. will be provided on our links page.
