I am so fed up with insurance companies. You pay an excessive amount of money to supposedly have health coverage, and in the end they only fuck you over. Every insurance company I have ever worked with is like this. Any little loophole they can find to not pay for something, they will do it. It's impossible to get a straight answer out of them, and when it comes down to it, they cover NOTHING. What's the point of even having insurance? You end up getting stuck with some obscenely high bill in the end.
I'm also peeved at the state of private health insurance in the U.S. I've lost faith in the for-profit private health care coverage in the U.S. Some reasons: Constant cutbacks, lack of coverage for needed therapy for my son, and limited selections of physicians. Additionally, I was assigned incompetent doctors on several occasions coupled by exorbitant bills. Like any other corporation, profits mean much more than the well-being of the people as a whole. I am paying way too much for what little my family is getting. I've looked around for other insurance providers and they don't cover the therapy as well.
National health systems in the UK and Canada do cover the therapy. I do believe in such a system to make sure the health of every hardworking family is taken care of and not only for those right-wingers with money inherited from mommy and daddy.

If you like socialized medicine so much feel free to move to Canada and see just
how great it is. The Webmaster's wife comes from a country with socialized
medical care. Would you care to know the body count in her family for the last 6
years? All victims of your favorite medical system.
When she came to this country the Webmaster promptly put her on his health
insurance and then took her to see his dentist. After the initial checkup he was
told it was a good thing he saw her when he did. 2- more years and he would have
been pulling teeth not reconstructing them.
Another great benefit of socialized medicine is waiting lists. It doesn't matter
if you are chronically ill, you will wait. If things get worse, to bad. If you
die, oh well. Single payer is just another term for rationing. While the system
now in use in the United States isn't great it is far better then all the single
payer systems out there.
I was in a auto accident recently. Drunk driver runs a red light and runs right into me. Then to top it off the mother fucker takes off. Cops got him but now his insurance company (viking) are being complete shit heads. They dont want to cover the damage, refuse to pay for the storage of my car at autobody shop and wont pay my medical. Fuck this company right in their commie asses. I mean seriously, how can they even think about denying me. He was insured, by them, and was at fault. Even if they say that he didnt run a red light its still his fucking fault. He was drunk, or so the police said with his .24 bac level. In conclusion FUCK VIKING INSURANCE!!!
