Tom Homan and ICE vs Boston

Good day all. Recently, the Political class ruling the City of Boston have been announcing that they will protect Illegal Aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Tom Homan. They have instructed the Boston Police Department to ignore any ICE detainer notifications no matter how dangerous they are.

Now the law on all this is straightforward. States, counties and cities are under no obligation to assist ICE in rounding up illegal aliens. However, they can not interfere with ICE when they are rounding criminal aliens. The Massachusetts Democrats have announced that they will do just that. Tom Homan is having none of that. Here are the details from Lifezette:

Donald Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, issued a stern warning to the city of Boston after the city’s police commissioner refused to cooperate with ICE in enforcing federal immigration laws. Homan’s remarks came during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) over the weekend.

Homan, who has been a vocal critic of sanctuary cities, reacted strongly to Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox’s recent refusal to support ICE in enforcing civil detainers.

“I read a story last night that the police commissioner of Boston, you said you’d double down on not helping law enforcement officers of ICE. I’m coming to Boston, and I’m bringing hell with me,” Homan told the crowd, sparking loud applause from the audience.

For the last few months, since President Trump crushed Kamala Harris in a landslide victory, President Trump has said that he is going to round up and deport all the illegal aliens in the United States. Since he was sworn in, and made Tom Homan his “Border Czar,” this is exactly what has been happening. The primary targets have been illegals who have committed other crimes in addition to being in the United States.

Almost all of these vermin are in jail around the country. When ICE finds out, they will send the local police department a “Detainer,” asking them to hold on to the illegal alien and call them to come pick them up. The issue here is that almost all of the Blue Democrat mismanaged cities are ignoring these detainers.

Now they aren’t required to honor them of course, but these are not nice people. Many of these scum have committed violent crimes including assault, armed robbery rape and child molestation. These are definitely criminals you want removed from the United States as rapidly as possible. Instead, The Democrats are releasing them back into the neighborhoods to continue their crime sprees.

Boston has been designated a sanctuary city since 2014, meaning it does not comply with federal immigration law by honoring ICE detainers.

Boston’s stance has been reinforced by a 2017 ruling from the state’s Supreme Judicial Court, which prohibits Massachusetts authorities from arresting or holding individuals based on federal civil immigration detainers

Now you may be asking why Congress doesn’t pass a bill that President Trump WILL sign ordering local police to honor the detainers. Simply put, under the Constitution, they don’t have to. So the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court was technically correct. Since the Democrat Ruling Class in Massachusetts considers illegal aliens to be more important that then own citizens, releasing these criminals is not a problem.

Homan cited specific examples of criminals being released in Boston, despite being flagged by ICE. “I looked at the numbers this morning,” Homan said. “I stopped counting at nine child rapists that were in jail in Massachusetts, but rather than honoring an ICE detainer, released them back into the street.”

Anger Central is based in New Hampshire, which is North of Massachusetts. New Hampshire is NOT a Sanctuary State. We also don’t have to much of a problem with Illegal Aliens up here. One reason for this is guns. 50% or more of the households have one or more gun. We also have the Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground. Massachusetts, being a Communist State, has all but banned the 2^nd Amendment and denies citizens the means or right to not be robbed, raped or murdered.

Homan also sharply criticized Commissioner Cox’s decision to side with the sanctuary policy, telling him, “You’re not a police commissioner. Take that badge off your chest, put it in the desk drawer because you became a politician, you forgot what it’s like to be a cop.”

I looked up Cox and he’s had a rather colorful career. Competent is questionable. I won’t bother going into his career, you can review it on that web site noted for it’s incredible accuracy, Wikipedia. It would appear that he was appointed by the Comrade Mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu as a DEI hire. Being a political police commissioner is understandable.

Now that Tom Homan has thrown down the gauntlet, ICE is going to come into Boston and start rounding up every illegal alien they can find. It remains to be seen just how stupid the Boston political hacks will be. I, personally, hope they will be incredibly stupid and actively interfere with the ICE operations. Then the DoJ can start the criminal investigations, indictments and arrests.

In closing, I find it amazing at how completely out of touch the Liberal Progressive Democrats mismanaging the cities and states are. The overwhelming majority of citizens are cheering on ICE as they round up Illegal Aliens and I have little doubt that the residents of Boston will do the same. The problem is that Massachusetts is a lost cause and most of the voters will put the Democrats back into office.
