Kerry to State, Hagel to defense?

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all our readers. The Grinch is about to load up our political stockings with coal. Since the election, when a small majority of idiots reelected Der Fubar, there has been talk of Hillary Clinton leaving the State Department. Also, Leon Panetta is leaving the Defense Department.

Well, that looks like a done deal. Now the search is on for their replacements and it looks like King Putz is going to continue with his with his policy of selecting the most anti-American people he can find.

First will start with the Secretary of State. Obama was going to choose Susan Rice, but she ran into a small problem called lying through her teeth in regards to the Benghazi debacle. She has since been tossed under the Obama bus. Now it looks like the SCoaMF is going to go with Senator John Forbes “Liveshot” Kerry ((Welcome to the Official “Live Shot” John Kerry Website)).

This would fit in with Obama’s ideas of foreign policy since Kerry is an out and out traitor. (He’s also a gigolo. More on that later) When I say traitor, I’m not just making the usual wingnut noises that I’m prone to. During the Vietnam War, Kerry visited with North Vietnamese officials “While still a serving member of the United States Navy.” He also lied to congress regarding war crimes. Most Vietnam veterans despise Liveshot with every fiber of their being.

In fact, when Kerry was running for President in 2004, some of his old boat squadron mates decided to torpedo his campaign by using a very dirty trick. They told the truth about his war record. This came to be known as “Swift boating” named after the small boats Kerry served on for a few months. Of course, the left promptly hijacked the term and used it to accuse anyone who might tell the truth about one of their candidates records of lying.

Liveshot Kerry has supported every single enemy of the United States since his Navy days, and he has always been wrong. Kerry is typical of the Democrat Elite. He literally believes that he is entitled to to wealth and political power. Since he wasn’t born into wealth, he did the next nest thing. He married it.

His first marriage was to Julia Stimson Thorne, a Philadelphia heiress. Her family was reported to be worth some $300 million dollars. Ms. Thorne suffered from depression during their marriage, (If I were female and married to Liveshot, I think I would be depressed too), and Kerry divorced her in 1988. They had two daughters together. Sadly, the former Mrs. Kerry passed away in 2006

This brings us to Mrs. Kerry number 2, Theresa Heinz. Theresa Heinz was originally married to Henry John Heinz III, an heir to the H. J. Heinz Company. (The ketchup makers) John Heinz was killed in a plane crash in 1991. Liveshot, who since the loss of his original meal ticket, had been living in a car, barely for the body to cool before he pounced. They were married in 1995.

Needless to say, his lifestyle promptly improved. Theresa Heinz/Kerry is estimated to be worth between $750 million and $1.2 billion. That’s a lot of ketchup! The jokes about Kerry’s wives have always run towards “Well, it looks like he’s traded up.”

As a U.S. Senator, Kerry has been pretty blah. He is credited with one of the more stupid remarks to come out of a political campaign. In one of the dumbest comments to ever be made, Kerry, in remarking on a vote he made to authorize $87 billion dollars for the Iraq War, said:

“I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.”

Kerry is and always has been a political opportunist. He doesn’t care about the security of this country let alone actually supporting it. He is manifestly unqualified to be President of the United States, (Which the voters informed him of in 2004), and he is unfit to be Secretary of State. Realistically, he isn’t fit to hold the office of dog catcher. The sad thing is, that country club on the Hill will probably confirm him with little debate.

This brings us to the second senior cabinet post that is opening up, the Secretary of Defense. Our Ear Leader wants to nominate former Republican (In name only) Senator, Charles Timothy “Chuck” Hagel. Hagel was a two term senator and if I recall correctly, retired due to ill health. The voters were sick of him.

Hagel has shown that he was a pro-Islamic, anti-Israeli anti-Semite. In fact, with the announcement that he was being looked at as the next Secretary of Defense, one of the first nations to welcome him was Iran ((Obama expected to nominate anti-Israel Hagel as secretary of defense)). His record is one of

support for Arab/Islamic countries and of essentially outright hatred of Israel. When George Bush decided to do the “Surge” into Iraq to finally break the RIF resistance, Hagel was opposed to it and said it wasn’t working. As we know now, it worked magnificently ((This Week: Chuck Hagel Says The Surge Isn’t Working)).

Hagel doesn’t like sending our troops into harms way. Of course, no one does, but there are times when it is necessary, such as Afghanistan, and to some extent Iraq. While you may argue about the strategies used, (I certainly do. I’m in the “Glass the place” camp), once our people were in harms way, they needed to have the support of their political leadership. Bush, of course, gave them that. Hagel quickly moved into the “Cut and run” camp.

Paul Mirengoff of Powerline Blog wrote up an essay on Chuck Hagel. In it he said:

But perhaps Hagel is the best man for the job? I suppose he could seem that way if you dislike Israel enough. Otherwise, don’t make me laugh. I assume that Hagel is reasonably knowledgeable about defense issues, but no more so than scores, if not hundreds, of others. And Hagel has no background in successfully managing, or helping to manage, large bureaucracies remotely comparable to the Pentagon. The only things that distinguishes him is (1) his extreme aversion to sending troops into combat and (2) what Kristol demonstrates to be his “anti-Israel, pro-appeasement-of-Iran bona fides.” For Obama, apparently, this is more than sufficient.

Yep, that is just the man the SCoaMF wants. Someone who will help him create the new Islamic Caliphate and destroy Israel and kill all the Jews.

Iran is racing to build nuclear weapons. There is no way Israel will allow them to get nukes. Over the years, Israel and the United States have been doing covert things to slow down Iran’s nuclear program. Israel has been working on attack plans for the last few years in case they have to “Go it alone” and bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities. Frankly, if it looks like Iran is about to build a device, the United States should bomb them long and hard.

Hagel’s support of Iran flies in the face of what Iran has stated they will do to both Israel and the United States. If Iran does get nuclear weapons, they have said they will use them. This means trying to nuke Israel and the United States. Since Hagel hates Israel, seeing the Israeli people slaughtered in a nuclear holocaust doesn’t seem to bother him a bit. It also doesn’t seem to bother Obama or any of the people in his administration.

Caroline Glick, who is no supporter of Obama is fully aware of Obama’s intentions towards Israel. In a posting on Hagel as SecDef, she writes:

Many in the American Jewish community are aghast to discover that President Obama is planning to appoint former Senator Chuck Hagel to serve as Defense Secretary. If you want the skinny on how Hagel has come to be known as one of the few ferociously anti-Israel senators in the past generation, Carl from Jerusalem at Israel Matzav provides it.

Obama wants to hurt Israel. He does not like Israel. He is appointing anti-Israel advisors and cabinet members not despite their anti-Israel positions, but because of them.

This is not a surprise. Der Fubar appointed Samantha Power Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs. (A crony type no show job only a Progressive could love) Power is on record calling for the invasion of Israel with the goal of forcebly disarming them and returning them to the pre-1967 borders. (Which are totally indefensible which is why there was a 1967 war in the first place)

The sad thing is that Hagel, like Kerry, will breeze through the confirmation process. I don’t see anyone of those gutless wonders pretending to be Republicans asking any real, tough questions. Any Republicans that would ask those questions will be kept far away from the various committee hearings. Israel is in for an extremely dangerous time, and frankly so are we. I honestly expect to see one or more American cities destroyed by nuclear weapons in the next few years. Hagel and Kerry will do nothing to stop our enemies. In fact, they will make Neville Chamberlain look like a drum banging warmonger by comparison.

We are so screwed.
