Democrats: “About that balanced budget”

Well, with all the talk about the European Union ripping off bank depositors, we haven’t mentioned that, after 4 years, the United States Senate has deigned to propose a budget. Just one small problem. It doesn’t balance and in fact will make things even worse.

To top this all off, the Senate Democrats have essentially announced that they don’t care to EVER balance the budget. Here are a few details from Townhall.com:

The US Senate has been debating a series of amendments to the chamber’s first budget resolution in nearly four years. Here are a few significant developments so far:

Senators defeated Jeff Sessions’ provided that would have required the Democratic majority to balance their budget within ten years using any combination of tax increases, cuts, and reforms they’d like. This was essentially a “show us how you’d balance the budget” amendment. It failed 46-53, with all Republicans and West Virginia’s Joe Manchin voting yes, and all other Democrats voting no. Thus, Harry Reid’s caucus overwhelmingly defeated even the concept of demonstrating to the American people how Democrats would balance the federal budget ten years from now.

Gee, what a surprise. Haven’t you figured out yet that as far as the Democrats are concerned, money does grow on trees. Of course, they have been clear cutting the forest for almost 80 years now, and the trees are all gone now.

Senate Budget Committee Chair Patty Murray introduced the House-passed budget as an amendment, just to show that it doesn’t have support in the Democrat-held Senate. It was defeated 40-59. This may change later today, but since 2009, every single Senate Democrat has voted against every single budget with which they’ve been presented.

No, it won’t change. Anything that prevents Democrats from spending money to buy votes is bad in their minds and must be stopped. Yes, Republicans have also gone the vote buying route, but they, at least, know what happens when the money runs out. A lot of them have actually run businesses in the past.

Senators blocked Kelly Ayotte’s proposal, which would have prevented consideration of any budget that raises taxes, so long as the national unemployment rate remains above 5.5 percent. Why hike up taxes on successful individuals, families, and (especially) businesses when so many Americans are out of work? Well, the irresponsible, unbalanced Reid/Murray budget includes $1.5 trillion in tax increases, so it’s no surprise that every Democrat voted against the Ayotte amendment. It was beaten back, 45-54.

Of course it’s not a surprise that Democrats would vote against Senator Ayotte’s amendment. She forgot the cardinal rule of the Liberal Progressive Democrats. Every single penny in the United States belongs to them and anything that prevents them from getting that money is evil and MUST BE STOPPED!

Ted Cruz’s Obamacare repeal amendment was shot down along strict party lines, 45-54. Every Republican voted yes, every Democrat, no.

Obamacare is probably the most hated government program in existence. It was jammed down the throats of the American People, who had repeatedly said they didn’t want it, using trickery and outright bribes to Senators to get it passed. The hatred for this program is only increasing.

Sen. Crapo’s amendment failed, along party lines (45-54). It would have provided tax relief for low and middle income families by repealing Obamacare’s taxes for those groups. Forced to choose between tax cuts for the middle class and Obamacare, Democrats sided with Obamacare. Again.

And this shows why the Democrats are in need of being destroyed. They are as corrupt and evil a political party as the Communists, Fascists and Nazi’s of the 20^th century. Personally, I think more then a few would be “In Retirement” after the 2012 election if Obama wasn’t running and certain precincts had actually run honest elections (( (Yes I know, WND isn’t the best of sources) THE BIG LIST of vote fraud reports)).

So, how long will it be before some Democrat suggests raiding the IRA, 401K and savings accounts of the American People…Again? After all, the Prog-Nazi’s love how Europe is handling things, what with the Ruling Elite’s beating down businesses and the people. After all, they know what’s best for everyone…especially themselves.
