Since the capture of Flash Bang and the death of his brother, Speed Bump, more and more has been coming out about them. One of the most angering things to come out is the fact that the terrorists and their family were collecting taxpayer financed goodies.
A number of news agencies discovered this and stared digging into it. One story from the New York Post said:
He’s the ultimate ingrate.
US-hating terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev took government handouts even as he delved deep into the world of violent, radical Islam, officials said.
Ingrate? My wife is an immigrant and one of the things I had to guarantee before she could get a visa and green card was that she would not be a burden on the taxpayers. Outright scum is how I would put it. The Boston Herald has been taking the lead on this story.
Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned.
State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter. The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home.
So, not only is Speed Bump a murdering terrorist, he’s also a lazy, good for nothing bum who lived off his wife’s work and couldn’t be bothered to go out and get a job. Apparently, the entire family is a bunch of lazy, good for nothing sponges. Now, people are starting to ask “The Big Question.”
The news raises questions over whether Tsarnaev financed his radicalization on taxpayer money.
I would say probably.
The state did not say when the Tsarnaevs began receiving benefits. But Health and Human Services spokesman Alec Loftus said the Tsarnaevs “were not receiving transitional assistance benefits at the time of the incident,” a reference to the marathon bombing that killed three and injured 260.
Loftus declined to specify what kinds of benefits and the amount of benefits the family received.
Their taxpayer-funded status came to light last night after repeated calls and emails to welfare officials from the Herald. They refused to comment throughout the day, but pressure mounted last night when the Herald started asking lawmakers whether the Department of Transitional Assistance should release the information.
These are very important questions that the government of the Commonwealth of Radical Islamic Terrorists Massachusetts should be answering. Unfortunately, it looks like Governor Deval Patrick Urkle found out before we did, apparently decided it made him look bad and shut it all down. In response to requests from the Boston Herald:
The Patrick administration clamped down the lid yesterday on Herald requests for details of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s government benefits, citing the dead terror mastermind’s right to privacy.
Right to privacy? Speed Bump is both a terrorist and dead. (The perfect combination) He has no right to privacy, especially when he murdered four people, crippled dozens of other and injured hundreds more.
Across the board, state agencies flatly refused to provide information about the taxpayer-funded lifestyle for the 26-year-old man and his brother and accused accomplice Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
On EBT card status or spending, state welfare spokesman Alec Loftus would only say Tamerlan Tsarnaev, his wife and 3-year-old daughter received benefits that ended in 2012. He declined further comment.
On unemployment compensation, labor department spokesman Kevin Franck refused to say whether Tamerlan Tsarnaev ever collected, saying it was “confidential and not a matter of public record.”
In other words, he has the answer but Governor Urkle told them to shut up.
On Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s college aid, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth spokesman Robert Connolly said, “It is our position — and I believe the accepted position in higher education — that student records including academic records and financial records (including financial aid) cannot under federal law be released without a student’s consent.”
I wouldn’t worry to much about releasing the records that Flash Bang was going to collage on the taxpayer’s nickel. He is in no position to sue, and will probably be in a new position in a few years. On his back, six feet underground.
On cellphones, the Federal Communications Commission would not say whether either brother had a government-paid cellphone, also citing privacy laws.
Now that one will really look bad. Speed Bump and Flash Bang using Obamaphones to set off their Massachusetts taxpayer financed pressure cooker bombs.
On housing, Cambridge officials and the family’s landlord ducked questions on whether the brothers were ever on Section 8 assistance.
I would say that means “Ayup, they were living in taxpayer financed housing while building their bombs.”
The Herald reported yesterday that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, his wife and 3-year-old daughter collected welfare until 2012 and that both Tamerlan and Dzhokhar received benefits through their parents “for a limited portion” of the time after they came to the U.S., which was around 2002.
However, the Department of Transitional Assistance wouldn’t release information about how long or how much they received.
This is Massachusetts. Throwing taxpayer money at terrorists is a time honored tradition there.
It remains unclear how the accused bomber brothers financed their heartless attacks on the marathon.
The Herald has to say that since they can’t prove that Speed Bump and Flash Bang used their welfare money to kill or injure 200 people. This possibility and Governor Urkle’s shutting down any information that makes him look bad, isn’t sitting to well with people.
The administration was slammed by a Democratic congressman who insisted the public has a right to know how taxpayers were underwriting the accused jihadist Tsarnaevs.
“It’s certainly relevant information that should be made public,” U.S. Rep. Stephen F. Lynch told the Herald. “There’s a national security interest No. 1. Secondly, there’s also a public interest in finding out whether these individuals were able to exploit the system and get benefits they weren’t entitled to.”
To which, the Urkle and Il Douche administrations responded by sticking their fingers in their ears and saying “LALALALALALALALA I can’t hear you!!” Sorry Urkle, inquiring minds want to know if you were paying terrorists to blow up Americans. It really doesn’t matter if you are embarrassed about the information, or if it ruins your political future. (Frankly, I hope it does)
Currently, Congress is in the process of ramming through an amnesty law for illegal aliens. They have no intention of actually protecting the borders or even American citizens and lawful immigrants. However, that is another blog post. Right now, all I want to know is how much of my money went to pay for these murderous, (and in the case of Flash Bang), treasonous activities. Considering how bad this is going to make the Progressive Liberal Democrats and their policies look, I have no doubt they are burying all the data in the nearest, deepest and darkest hole they can find.
