Illegal Alien Amnesty again

Once again, Amnesty for Illegal Criminal Aliens has reared it’s ugly head. Even though our “So Called” representatives have been told time and time again not to do this, they refuse to listen. Now they have come up with another bill that is so bad, we may as well close down the United States and end us as a free and independent nation.

Just like the last time, we have the usual suspect trying to ram this down our throats. John McCain, Lindsey Graham and now Marco Rubio have come up with yet another amnesty bill. Of course, they are lying through their teeth about it. I don’t need to go into what Democrats support it, they all do. So what is in this one? Here’s a few details from the Washington Times:

The debate is raging over whether the latest immigration bill is an amnesty for illegal immigrants, but one part is clear: The legislation would forgive businesses that have employed those immigrants illegally.

Right there should be a major deal killer. One of the reasons criminal aliens come into the United States is employers hiring them at below market wages.

Employers who have allowed illegal immigrants to work off the books can come forward safely and provide their work history without fear of prosecution, and businesses that knowingly employed someone using a bogus or stolen Social Security number likewise would get a pass, according to an analysis of the bill by the Center for Immigration Studies, a think tank that wants a crackdown on immigration,

So this bill will reward tax evasion, identity theft and fraud. That’s a nice first step.

“The illegal workers at least have to pay a token fine. The employers of illegal immigrants who violated a whole list of laws themselves don’t even have to pay,” said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the center. “It’s the business side of the amnesty that doesn’t get a lot of focus.”

Yeah, so much for punishing corrupt businesses. I wonder who they bribed gave large campaign donations to in congress for this “Congressional Pardon?” This isn’t all of course.

The crux of the Senate bill, negotiated by four Republican senators and four Democrats, would legalize most of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., but withhold a full pathway to citizenship for most of them until after the Homeland Security Department takes more steps to secure the border and implements the electronic verification system for employers.

And they will leave this all in the hands of Janet Incompetano to determine when the border is secured. Of course, she has no intention of actually locking down the borders. She’s way to busy spying on American citizens who think Obama and his regime are a threat to them and their families.

All sides are still combing through the 844-page bill, trying to figure out what it would do. One major fight is over how many foreigners would be let into the country as a result of higher caps on legal immigration.

And what I’ve heard so far is so bad, that it can’t be believed. One of the claims by Marco Rubio is that these criminal aliens, once granted amnesty, won’t be allowed access to welfare or Obamacare. According to the Bizpac Review:

Sen. Marco Rubio has been repeating for weeks that the immigration reform bill drafted by the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” would deny anyone here illegally entitlements such as welfare, food stamps or Obamacare. One who has actually read the bill disagrees.

When Rubio went on his whirlwind talk show tour a few weeks back, he told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, “[T]hey don’t qualify for any federal benefits… This is an important point. No federal benefits, no food stamps, no welfare, no Obamacare. They have to prove they’re gainfully employed. They have to be able to support themselves, so they’ll never become a public charge.”

And if you believe any of that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you.

Now for the rest of the story. Former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey possessed both the stamina and the wherewithal to actually read to 800-plus-page immigration reform bill, and she says it stinks to high heaven.

Something no one in congress can be bothered to do. Here is Lt. Governor McCaughey has to say in the Investors Business Daily:

The nation’s dysfunctional immigration laws need reforming. But the Senate bill unveiled last week would explode the number of people on food stamps and ObamaCare.

But, but, but Senator Rubio said this wasn’t going to happen!

Shockingly, the bill also would put left-wing community organizations in charge of educating immigrants about citizenship — a blatant attempt to herd future voters into the Democratic Party.

Amnesty for Criminal Aliens has ALWAYS been about securing a one party state with the Democrats being the One Party. Just like the one party states in the old Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea, and Germany between 1933 and 1945.

Sens. John McCain and Marco Rubio, two Republicans pressing for passage, haven’t mentioned these shenanigans. Have they even read the bill?

Now that is either a silly question or a rhetorical one. I suspect the latter.

Expanding legal immigration will push up spending on food stamps, Head Start, housing subsidies and other benefits for which legal immigrants are eligible upon arrival.

Section 212(a)(4) of the U.S. Code says no immigrant who’s at risk of becoming a “public charge” can get a green card, but it’s never enforced. Half of green-card holders have household incomes below 138% of the federal poverty line, and they’re also largely uninsured.

Insuring these legal newcomers will add $100 billion over the next decade to the ever-rising cost of ObamaCare.

That is a very conservative number. Obamacare is already busting the budget and hasn’t even been implemented yet.

The health law makes legal immigrants eligible for subsidized private health insurance as soon as they arrive. Half of them will qualify for maximum assistance, costing $9,000 per enrollee, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

And any estimate the CBO gives should be multiplied by a factor of 10 if past history of their estimates is any guide.

So is Rubio’s claim that illegal immigrants granted provisional status will “have to be able to support themselves, so they’ll never become a public charge.” The Senate bill does say that, citing the never-enforced Section 212(a)(4).

But the bill also waives that requirement for anyone who is unemployed, in job-training, getting a high school or GED diploma, younger than 21 or older than 60, taking care of a child or attending college (pp. 99-102).

In other words, instant welfare on my tax dollars. Thanks a lot Rubio. Marco Rubio was sent to Washington in 2010 to try and fix the Obama/Democrat disasters. Instead, he has grown a horn on his nose and become the worst sort of RINO. A lying fraud. Even Ann Coulter is turning on him.

When Republicans start lying like Democrats, you can guess they are pushing an idea that’s bad for America. During his William Ginsburg-like tour of the Sunday talk shows last weekend, Sen. Marco Rubio was the Mount Vesuvius of lies about his immigration bill.

Subtlety, thy name is NOT Ann Coulter. Ms. Coulter did a great deal of damage to herself last year when she tried to push Chris Christy as a candidate for President. She has been trying to walk back from that fiasco for months now, admitting she was wrong. She, like many people, supported Rubio when he was running for the senate as a dark horse candidate.

Here is how Rubio explained the powerful border-enforcing mechanism in his bill on “Fox News Sunday,” which he denied was merely a meaningless goal:

“Basically, Homeland Security will have five years to meet that goal. If after five years, Homeland Security has not met that number, it will trigger the Border Commission, who will then take over this issue for them.”

So the water torture awaiting the Department of Homeland Security if it fails to secure the border is … ANOTHER GOVERNMENT COMMISSION WILL BE CREATED! Take that, Homeland Security! Ha — we have you now! The only thing more frightening than “another government commission” is a “strongly worded letter.”

No kidding Ann. This whole thing is designed to reward criminal behavior. As you might expect, The democrats are pushing this with their typical lack of concern for anyone who disagrees with them. Dingy Harry Reid, one of the most corrupt Senate Majority leaders in a century plans to once again, fire up his battering ram and jam this through congress. According to Roll Call:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., promised Wednesday to use the power of his office to get immigration overhaul legislation through Congress.

“I pledge that I will do everything in my power as Majority Leader to get a bill across the finish line,” Reid said at a pro-overhaul March for Citizenship event in Las Vegas.

Harry Reid has the typical contempt for the rule of law, the constitution and the Progressive Liberal Elite’s complete lack of common sense.

“We can’t do this piecemeal,” Reid said. “And we can’t do it without a pathway to earned citizenship.”

“Nothing short of success is acceptable to me,” Reid stressed.

Never mind what the Citizens and those who went through the immigration process legally might want. Oh No! He and the other Democrats want to get all those illegals on the voter rolls so they can make sure their seats are safe. Of course, he did the same thing with Obamacare and that is turning into one of the greatest debacles of the last 100 years. Fortunately, as more and more of this pile of horse dung is revealed, the process to jam it through is being slowed down.

The Republican-controlled House is considering taking on the issue piece by piece, rather than comprehensively. Many Republicans have spoken out against providing a path to citizenship, as the Senate bill does, saying it sends the wrong message by rewarding those who came here illegally. Hearings on aspects of the overhaul are set for after this week’s recess.

One House Republican is Judiciary Chairman Robert W. Goodlatte. Again from Roll Call:

Influential House conservatives signaled Thursday that they will pursue their own course on revising the nation’s immigration laws, a move that some lawmakers warned could derail a comprehensive overhaul that President Obama has made a top priority for his second term.

A week after a bipartisan Senate group introduced an 844-page immigration proposal backed by the White House, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) said he would chart a narrower path by introducing several small-scale immigration proposals this week that will begin months of negotiations over proposals from House members and groups.

I will be the first to say the Immigration process is broken, and in my opinion, beyond repair or reform. It needs to be junked and rebuilt from the ground up. However, one thing it can’t do is reward lawbreakers, which is what this “Gang of Eight” garbage is doing.

The announcement was the latest indication of the widening battle among Republicans over what to do about the country’s immigration system and marks perhaps the most serious political challenge to emerge.

Leading conservatives have begun to seek ways to delay and, potentially, defeat the push for the legislation, which includes a path to citizenship for up to 11 million illegal immigrants. Goodlatte’s measures are expected to be more conservative than those included in the bipartisan Senate deal.

The critics’ strategy has come into increasing focus since the Senate plan became public last week, with groups and lawmakers on the right vowing to draw out the debate and offer time for opposition to grow. The emerging coalition is working to step up the political pressure on the measure’s most prominent Republican sponsor, Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), a potential presidential contender in 2016.

I think it’s safe to say that Rubio’s potential as a presidential candidate is all but dead now. He had a shot at least for the VP slot, but now? He’s toast. Actually he’s burnt toast. No, more like toast on fire. I will never support him again and I hope he gets a primary challenger when his term is up. Say someone like Allen West?

Of course, we still have the RINO brigade in the House led by Crybaby Boehner.

The split within the GOP’s conservative wing has set up a difficult political calculation for House Speaker John A. Boehner (Ohio), who must decide whether to risk angering the Republican base or allow extended debate that could imperil the legislation. Thursday’s developments indicate that Boehner has decided to let the issue play out rather than pushing for a deal closer to the emerging Senate agreement.

Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said the speaker commended Goodlatte for his work and added: “It is crucial that every member .?.?. and the American people have their voices heard.”

Boehner is himself skating on thin ice these days. There is a good chance that he will lose the speakers gavel after the 2014 midterms, not because Pinhead Pelosi takes over, but because the Republicans get sick of his incompetence and deceits.

People are furious with the Congress, and now are getting very frightened over what is happening to this country. We keep telling these boobs what we want to do and they will not listen. They live in their little Beltway Bubble and can’t conceive of Americans are dealing with. Maybe they should before it’s to late.
