Another mass shooting in Gun free zone

As you should know, there was a tragic murder spree at the Washington Navy Yard. The suspect, Aaron Alexis murdered 12 people and wounded several others.

As you might have expected, the news services were quick to release information that has since been shown to be inaccurate at best. What we do know at this juncture is that the suspect smuggled a shotgun into the navy yard, shot a security guard and took his sidearm. He then proceeded to walk through the building, primarily the third and fourth floors, gunning people down. The suspect apparently was suffering from a severe mental illness and had sought help for it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.

As you might expect, the bodies had not stopped bouncing before the usual suspects were screaming “Ban Guns!” and blaming the NRA for this horror. The NRA, as is their policy, is withholding comment out of respect for the families of the murder victims. The various left wing media types promptly announced that the suspect had used an AR15 semiautomatic rifle. The FBI has determined that the only firearm used by the Suspect was a shotgun. They have not announced, (To my knowledge), if this was a pump action, self loading or a double barreled shotgun. Several members of the Mostly Stupid Media have now begun referring to this as an AR15 Assault Shotgun.

This hasn’t slowed the Anti-Constitutionalists such as Feinstein. She continues to demand gun bans and wants to force outright confiscation. What she fails to mention is that other then MP’s and police, no one on that base was allowed to carry a gun. In fact, no one is allowed to be armed on any military base since 1993. That was when William Jefferson Clinton issued an executive order to disarm American military personnel. The only times they are to have their weapons is when on training missions or being deployed ((End Clinton-era Military Base Gun Ban)).

This policy directly led to the terrorist attack at Fort Hood where Major Nidal Malik Hasan murdered 13 soldiers and wounded more then 30 others. He was able to do this for one simple reason. Not one soldier in the area had a rifle or pistol with which to shoot Hasan. It has now led to another mass murder at another military base. The only differences in these events is one was a terrorist attack, (No matter what Der Fubar wants people to believe), and the other was a very sick man.

Thanks to William Jefferson Clinton, we now have over 25 military and civilians dead and dozens of others wounded because the political elite refuses to allow military personnel to carry the weapons they have been training to use since the day they raised their hands and took the Oath:

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).

I do not know why President Bush didn’t reverse this order. Perhaps he wasn’t aware of it, and frankly had other things on his mind. I also doubt that King Putt is aware of it, or wasn’t when the Islamic Terrorist attack occurred at Fort Hood. He should know about it now, but as you might expect, he will never reverse it.

Perhaps it’s time for congress to act. Perhaps they should write a bill, something that says that members of the armed forces may carry their assigned personal weapons while on active duty. (With ammunition of course) Oh who am I kidding? Our congress is just as useless, with a few notable exceptions, as Barack Obama.

Get ready for the next onslaught from the Progressive Liberal Democrats to try and end the United States Constitution, and watch them use the victims of their own policies to do it. If you want to prevent this, start fighting back now. Write letters to the editors, call TV stations and news organizations, (Not that it will do any good), if you have a blog, write about how the Progressive Liberal Democrats want you as their slaves or dead. Go on social media platforms such as Facebook and respond, (Politely), to the snarling, ignorant morons who love insulting gun owners and those who support the Constitution, (All of it). Be prepared to be banned for 12 hours when you do. Facebook supports the suppression of the Constitution and has been caught banning anyone not toeing the Progressive line.
