Global Warming brings an early snow

What a fun week I’ve had taunting the believers of Man Caused, (No women you notice), global warming. First we had a bunch Moonbats trying to sail through the mythical Northwest Passage and getting themselves iced in, then we have a bunch of nitwits from Greenpeace getting hauled up on potential piracy charges in Russia.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the High Church of Global Warming Climate Change, it does. In this case, it’s 8” of fresh snow at Crater Lake ((Crater Lake)) in Oregon. Apparently, it’s at least a month early for any snow to fall in that location. Here are some fo the details from Mail Tribune:

Crater Lake received a record-smashing 8 inches of snow in 24 hours Tuesday into Wednesday, the National Weather Service reported.

More than one month ahead of schedule, the frosty blanket made its earliest appearance since 1986, when snow fell a week earlier on Sept. 18. Before that, the earliest appearance of a winter wonderland at Crater Lake was Sept. 24, 1948.

“It looks like there were sharply higher values of snowfall above 6,000 feet,” said meteorologist Shad Keene. “Crater Lake tends to get the brunt of all the precipitation, so the chance of them exceeding a forecast is higher than in most places. It’ll really come down.”

At elevations 6,000 feet and below, there was anywhere from 1 to 3 inches.

“The higher elevations definitely got more than we expected,” Keene said.

The Pope of the High Church of Global Warming Climate Change could not be reached for comment. He was on a retreat in one of his centers of contemplation and extreme power usage. ((Gore Defends Mansion’s Power Consumption))

It’s been a very cool summer in North America and is supposed to be a very cold and snowy winter this season. It looks like it’s already started in Oregon. Hopefully the moonbats will go into hibernation and stop annoying the rest of us with their constant barking.
