Here’s how they should have built Obamacare

Good day all. As pretty much everyone knows, (Except Obama who knows nothing), the Obamacare web site, healthcare.gov, is a complete disaster. The site couldn’t handle more then a dozen users at the same time, couldn’t talk to all the back end database servers or even send data to the insurance companies.

Since the failed roll out of Obama 404Care, the Obama maladministration has been in a blind panic to get this pile of worm dropping up and running. Der Fubar announced that the site would be fixed and operational by December 1st. Not one person outside of the Oval Office actually believe it. In fact, we’re now starting to see the Democrats in the Senate and House pulling the “Eject” handle and bailing out on this fiasco.

Well, it looks like someone else took the bull by the horns and rebuilt Obama 404Care’s web site in a way that it actually works. It isn’t fully functional, but that’s only due to access issues. (The developers didn’t have it) Here are some of the details from Fox News:

Three programmers claim to have constructed a workable ObamaCare website alternative in three days — but one top developer says the site could soon require a band-aid of its own.

The new HealthSherpa site lets users quickly browse through health insurance plans by ZIP code, and calculates their federal tax subsidy eligibility, without the lookup, registration and log-on problems that have dogged the federal HealthCare.gov website.

I took a quick look at the site. It’s very basic, you can’t send data to the insurance companies and it doesn’t tie into all the systems that Obama 404Care does. However, it does give you a rough idea of just how badly you’re going to get screwed by Obama and the Democrats.

It’s a working healthcare.gov alternative built in less time than it takes to skin a knee, in other words. And that’s no surprise, said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO of Coupa, a company that helps health care organizations like Avalon and Molina deploy and manage websites and services.

Which must really frost the SCoaMF and his band of incompetent moonbats. Still, the designers freely admit it isn’t close to being perfect.

“It doesn’t authenticate you against any government database, and there’s no registration that validates you are who you are and helps you enroll. That’s the hardest part,” Bernshteyn told FoxNews.com.

This is true, but as a demonstration project, it shows the level of stupefying incompetence of Kathleen Sebelius, the Department of Health and Human Services, CGI Federal and the Democrats in congress. These three people knocked together a basic site and connected it to the Obama 404Care train wreck web site in less then a week. Can you imagine if they had the resources and access to build the true Obamacare web site? My guess is it would have been done in a year or less, would have worked and would have allowed ten’s of thousands of users to get on and quickly find out how bad the new insurance plans were. Hmm, Now I wonder if this wasn’t the whole idea in the first place? Build a site that is garbage in order to hide the fact that most people will be paying a lot more for a lot less.

The site pulls data directly from the government servers, but there’s no way to ascertain whether it does that correctly, Bernshteyn told FoxNews.com.

“Here you might be pulling one piece of information, but when someone goes to enroll they might see something different — and then do they go back to HealthSherpa for help?

“Even though it’s well intentioned, it could end up confusing people,” he said.

I doubt it. I wasn’t confused at all, but then I’m not a moron like most people who supported Obama, The Progressive Liberal Democrats and this load of horse manure called the Affordable Care Act.

The ease of creating a purely informational site should be a lesson to the government, Bernshteyn said. He has advocated for a staged deployment in the past, where, for example, November is dedicated to getting data about plans into people’s hands. The site could then spend December enrolling people.

A staged deployment would have been the way to proceed in the first place, but that train has left the station. Millions of people are losing their current insurance plans and will be completely without it come January 1st, 2014. Of course, they are going to be without it in any case for a very simple reason. There is no way in Hell they will be able to get this waste of disk space up and running in the 2 weeks they have left. As I’ve said before, this whole mess needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up, with proper quality control AND security in place before they throw the switch. That will take the better part of a year, provided you can keep the numb nuts in the Obama Regime from putting their fine hands into the mix…again.

Shut it down. It can’t be fixed and no one wanted it in the first place. All this did was show people what the Progressive Liberal Democrats truly are. Totalitarian scum who want to enslave America.
