Meet the new Nazi’s of the Ivy League

Good day all. Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to get back to our normal ranting and raving. Today, I’m going to scream at the newest members of the Nazi Party, American Ivy League Academics. You would think these tenured, over-educated Moonbats would know better, but you would be wrong.

Now, according to Godwin’s Law ((Godwin’s Rule of Nazi Analogies)), once you use the accusation that someone is a Nazi, you lose the argument. Godwin himself said that if the analogy fits, then the accusation of supporting the ideas of the Nazi’s was not, in of itself, a way to kill an argument. I think what these so called Academics are trying to do with regards to Israel fits the definition and that it isn’t wrong to refer to them as Nazi’s.

So, what brought this on? It was a story I saw on Fox News the other day. In it, a number of US officials and other Academics slammed a group that is trying to destroy Israel. Here are the actual details from Fox News:

An American academic group’s “boycott” of Israeli institutions is facing mounting opposition from all corners, as prestigious universities as well as U.S. officials say the organization is unfairly singling out Israel while ignoring major human-rights abusers.

That’s not surprising. Moonbats have always supported tyrannical governments over Democracies and Republics.

Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was the latest to get involved, firing off a letter to the American Studies Association on Monday. Engel called it “another example of the unfair double standard Israel is regularly and unfairly subjected to by organizations such as yours.”

Now, not being a Moonbat or an academic, (I have to much common sense and loyalty to the United States Constitution to qualify), I looked up these clowns. I hesitate to link to their web site, but in the interests of honesty, (Something really lacking with this bunch of clowns), I will. They call themselves the American Studies Association. From what I can see, and with apologies to Obi-Wan Kenobi, You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy then this group of idiots. I’ll let you read what these anti-Semitic singers of the Horst Wessel ((Horst Ludwig Wessel)) Song. (You can look up the actual song on YouTube if you so desire. I don’t)

Getting back to the article, people took no time in denouncing these frauds.

The move immediately drew objections from Jewish advocacy groups. But top American universities, including Harvard and Yale, have also pushed back. Harvard President Drew Gilpin Faust called it a “direct threat” to the ideals universities defend.

“Academic boycotts subvert the academic freedoms and values necessary to the free flow of ideas, which is the lifeblood of the worldwide community of scholars,” Faust said in a statement. Other universities withdrew their ASA membership.

Israel has been a target for the Moonbat left for decades. Their Nazi-like antics really came into their own when Clinton took office. (No, I don’t think Bill Clinton is an anti-Semitic Nazi. He’s seen the pictures of the Israeli women at the beach) Part of the problem is that Israel refuses to role over for the Arabs and willingly march off to the showers. They also have a habit of crushing Arab armies when they are attacked. In the Moonbat’s mind, those are unpardonable sins. Why how DARE those people not hand over everything to those poor misunderstood Arab Muslims?

Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y added his voice in the letter to ASA President Curtis Marez. He noted this is the first time the association has boycotted a country and questioned — why Israel? He noted the group “has chosen to stay silent on China’s suppression of independent academic voices critical of the Communist Party, the Venezuelan government’s retaliation against opposition-oriented universities, [and] Zimbabwe’s denial of foreign academics from countries critical of Robert Mugabe’s dictatorial government from assuming academic residencies at the University of Zimbabwe.”

Now, for the record, I would like to see Rep. Engel crushed at the polls. Not for going after the ASA, but for everything else he’s done. However, even a broken clock is correct twice a day and this is one of those times.

And he questioned whether such venerable Israeli institutions as the Walter Lebach Institute for Jewish-Arab Coexistence Through Education at the Tel Aviv University really “contribute to the purported Israeli assault on human rights and academic freedoms.”

There is no assault on academic freedoms or human rights in Israel. Now on the other side, there is nothing BUT violations of Human rights among the Islamic nations and as for academic freedoms? You’re kidding right?

It’s unclear what practical impact the boycott will have.

Well it has had one effect of showing what a bunch of Nazi sympathizers those who support the actions of the SA/SS ASA really are.

A lengthy explanation from the ACA said Israeli scholars would still be permitted to lecture at member campuses, and ASA members could in many circumstances continue to work with Israeli scholars. The boycott was aimed more at cutting ties between the ASA “as an association” and Israeli institutions.

Bull. How many Israeli scholars do you really think will be asked to give lectures to any supporting ASA institutions? Allow me to provide a hint. ZERO!

But the association has defended the decision, arguing that Israeli institutions are “complicit” in a “multi-tiered system of oppression” against the Palestinians. The group noted that all major Israeli universities are governmental organizations, and claimed “many are directly involved in furnishing the ideological justification and technical means” for Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory.

The only people “Repressing” the Palestinians are the Palestinians and other Islamic/Arab countries. They have been more them welcome to come join with Israel, but would much prefer to send their children in to blow themselves up on school buses full of Israeli children. They won’t be satisfied until all Jews have been exterminated and Israel no longer exists. (And that is NOT hyperbole. They have stated as much) Even the Obama Propaganda Arm, (Formally the Obama Steno Pool, also known as the Main Stream Media), is coming down on these jerks.

The Washington Post’s editorial board called the approach “terrible misguided.” A recent editorial questioned why the group focused its criticism exclusively on Israel.

“Did they give any thought to what’s happened lately to freedom in Russia, won at enormous cost in a Cold War that lasted more than four decades?” the board wrote. “Have the scholars overlooked the cries for help from Cuban dissidents bravely standing up to the Castro brothers, demanding freedoms — and suffering beatings and arrest almost every week? Do they condone the decision of a judge in Saudi Arabia who has just sentenced a political activist to 300 lashes and four years in prison for calling for a constitutional monarchy?”

Of course they didn’t give it any thought. People like these Nazi Academics won’t go after them for a few simple reasons. They agree with the thought police and more importantly, they know that the Israelis won’t kill them. The Muslims? Oh Yeah! They will slice off the heads of anyone who disagrees with them if they can. Literally!

The ASA boycott is part of a broader international campaign against Israeli institutions. It has divided American colleges and universities.

Surprisingly, most Students and Academics don’t like Nazi’s, their ideas and don’t want to be associated with those who do think like Nazi’s.

A fraction of the ASA’s members ended up voting on the resolution which formalized the boycott, following a similar stance by the Association for Asian American Studies. But the American Association of University Professors took the opposite stance, saying it rejects academic boycotts “as a matter of principle.”

First, good for the Association of University Professors. Now, since a fraction of the membership voted on this resolution, I wonder how many of it’s members will stand up and either repudiate the Nazi’s in their organization or if not able to reverse this vote, resign their membership? That’s what we need to watch for. If the majority is like me, and hates Nazi’s, then they will have a new vote, repudiate this disgrace and expel those who rammed it through. If they don’t, then the “Silent Majority” will show they are just as in love with Hitler and his scummy minions as those who voted for the annihilation of all Jews everywhere. (Starting with Israel of course)
