Daylight savings time

*Yawn* Good day all, this is the Angry Systems Administrator. Last night we lost an hour of much needed sleep when the clocks were set forward one hour. I was up late last night and had to get up early to make sure nothing blew up.

Nothing did thankfully, but I remember the days of yesteryear when thanks to the morons in big government, they would change the dates that we would have to push the clocks forward or backwards. Once upon a time, there may have been a real reason for this. These days? it actually costs more then it saves.

I remember, (And I’m dating myself here), when they decided to have daylight savings time all year long. I also remember waiting for a school bus in the pitch black road, (No lights where I was) , and hoping I didn’t get run down by someone on his way to work who didn’t see me. If I recall correctly, there were a number of children who were run over, and this is one of the reasons they rolled it back.

So who is responsible for the current situation? That would be now Senator, (and then representative), Ed Markey. (Moonbat – Mass). I’ll let the Angry Webmaster tear this useless turd a new one. Me, I’m in search of more coffee.
