SCHOCKER! Greenpeace founder is climate denier!

When you’ve lost the founder of Greenpeace, you’ve lost it all. Good day all. I saw this story last week but haven’t been able to get to it until now. It seems that one of the co-founders of Greenpeace doesn’t believe in Man Caused Global Warming Climate Change.

In a story in in Fox News:

A co-founder of Greenpeace told lawmakers there is no evidence man is contributing to climate change, and said he left the group when it became more interested in politics than the environment. Patrick Moore, a Canadian ecologist and business consultant who was a member of Greenpeace from 1971-86, told members of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee environmental groups like the one he helped establish use faulty computer models and scare tactics in promoting claims man-made gases are heating up the planet.

“There is no scientific proof that human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are the dominant cause of the minor warming of the Earth’s atmosphere over the past 100 years,” he said. Even if the planet is warming up, Moore claimed it would not be calamitous for men, which he described as a “subtropical species.”

That sound you just heard coming from the headquarters of Greenpeace was a group primal scream followed by the popping of their communist heads due to a severe rise in their blood pressure.

Skeptics of manmade climate change say there is no evidence the Earth is warming. A UN report on the scientific data behind global warming released in September indicated that global surface temperatures have not increased for the past 15 years, but scientists who believe climate change due to man is occurring say it has merely paused because of several factors and will soon resume.

And what does this bogus report say? Well I’m not going to read 2200 pages of gobbledygook, so I’ll let Fox News summarize for us.

The 2,200-page new Technical Report attributes that to a combination of several factors, including natural variability, reduced heating from the sun and the ocean acting like a “heat sink” to suck up extra warmth in the atmosphere.

In other words, the natural processes of the planet are working as they are designed to. Now, why did Patrick Moore bail on the organization he helped found?

Moore said he left Greenpeace in the 1980s because he believed it became more interested in politics than science.

“After 15 years in the top committee I had to leave as Greenpeace took a sharp turn to the political left, and began to adopt policies that I could not accept from my scientific perspective,” he said. “Climate change was not an issue when I abandoned Greenpeace, but it certainly is now.”

What was going on back in the 80’s? Why that would be the Reagan Administration and the Cold War. Back then the KGB was burrowing into every leftie organization and using it to try and bring down the Free world. The way the usually did it was either start a group and get it going, then pull out, or send in people to subvert groups that were somewhat left of center.

When the Soviet Union fell, these groups went even harder to the left. All the old line communists migrated into them and have worked ever since to recreate their view of the Soviet Union in the United States. One of the first things they have to do is destroy the economy of the United States. The best way to do that is to so hamstring businesses, that they either close or move out of the country.

Of course, we have something today that didn’t exist to any great extent back then. It’s this thing called “The Internet.” Today, people can go out and find all the information on both sides of an argument and make up their own minds. This is what Mr. Moore pulled out of Greenpeace. Today, they are nothing more then a Socialist group who’s sole goal is the end of freedom and individuality. You might think of them as being paid up members of the Borg Collective. I, for one, will continue to resist assimilation. I hope you will as well.
