Gun grabbing liberal arrested for gunrunning

Good day all. This story broke yesterday and has been blasting around the internet. The FBI was rounding up the usual suspects regarding assorted corruption cases. One of these people was California State Senator Leland Lee, representing San Francisco. In his case, besides the usual charges, the FBI also hit him with weapons charges.

What makes this so amusing is that Leland Yee is one of California’s biggest gun grabbing politicians. He has been working to strip the Second Amendment rights away from Californians for years. Now we may know why. There are many news sites reporting this. Here’s a few details from The Blaze:

A California state senator who authored gun control legislation asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday. The allegations against State Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint. The affidavit accuses Yee of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms. He was arrested Wednesday.

This would be funny if it wasn’t so serious. Oh Hell, I’m going to laugh a bit at the typical Progressive Liberal hypocrisy here. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! There, I feel better. Now what was this scumsucking moonbat pushing? Was he working to sell cheap Saturday Night Specials to gang bangers? Not exactly. According to CBS News:

Yee discussed helping the agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder-fired automatic weapons and missiles, and took him through the entire process of acquiring them from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to bringing them to the United States, according to the affidavit by FBI Special Agent Emmanuel V. Pascua.

As I said, this would be very serious if this were an actual deal, and who knows? Yee might have brokered successful deals in the past. Automatic weapons are highly regulated in the United States and you flat out can’t have them in California. Missiles? That is an absolute Bozo No No! The CBS News article doesn’t say of these missiles were to be Surface to Air guided missiles or RPG style anti-armor weapons. Frankly, it doesn’t matter.

One of the big things people are asking is why this Pride of the Progressive Liberal Elite was trying to smuggle heavy ordnance into the United States as well as taking bribes and selling his office. It seems he was “Unhappy.”

Yee said he was unhappy with his life and told the agent he wanted to hide out in the Philippines, the document said. “There’s a part of me that wants to be like you,” he told the undercover agent. “You know how I’m going to be like you? Just be a free agent there.”

Typical Progressive Liberal Moonbat. He’s done nothing but crap all over California, and now that it’s a complete disaster area, he wants to move somewhere else so he can be “Happy.” No doubt, if he had managed to pull this off, he would have gone to the Philippines and promptly started crapping all over things over there in typical barking moonbat style. Of course, California’s Lord of War wannabe would probably ended up feeding the sharks off Mindanao. Typically, gunrunners don’t take kindly to a lot of whining.

One thing that really needs to be considered though, is the hypocrisy of the Progressive Liberal Democrats. This chowder head has been working mightily to strip away the rights of his constituents and yet was also working to arm real criminals. If you think the weapons the Clown Pooftah of Crime was working to smuggle into the country were going to go to Bubba Redneck in his quest to fight the forces of the BATFE and DHS, think again. They would have gone to gangs and terrorists inside the United States. Groups like the Crips and the Bloods and their ilk and also to Radical Islamic Fundamentalists. They would like nothing better then a weapon to shoot down an airliner. I hope this scumbucket is convicted of all charges and dies in prison.
