Grudgematch! Obama vs Carter!

Good evening fight fans, we have one Hell of a match tonight! In this corner, weighing in at 175 pounds wearing a smug, arrogant grin, is the current lightweight champion, Barack Hussein. Obama! In the other corner, weighing in at 162 pounds, wearing an angry look, the former lightweight Champion, James Earl Carter!

Carter, who once held the championship as the most inept and incompetent president in the history of the United States, lost the title January 20^th, 2009 when the current holder of the title took office. Since winning the Championship, Obama has worked hard to maintain his ineptitude. Now, Carter sees the opportunity to regain his title, even though he is no longer in office. Here are the details on this match from Fox News:

Former President Jimmy Carter once again is getting way out in front of the U.S. government on the Middle East, co-authoring an op-ed in which he calls for Washington to recognize designated terror group Hamas as a legitimate “political actor” — while blasting Israel for its military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

And Carter leads with his trademark Anti-Israel right hook.

The scathing column on ForeignPolicy.com was written by Carter and Ireland’s former president Mary Robinson.

Ok, this was fun while it lasted, but now it’s time to be somewhat serious. Carter, since being unceremoniously shown the Oval Office door by Ronald Reagan in 1981, has shown himself to be a bitter anti-Semite who has backed every group that was engaged in murdering Israeli children. To continue:

The article called the current conflict a “humanitarian catastrophe,” and while acknowledging Hamas’ “indiscriminate targeting” of Israelis, focused its criticism on Israel.

“There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war,” they wrote. “Israeli bombs, missiles, and artillery have pulverized large parts of Gaza, including thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals.”

Gee, the former Naval officer doesn’t seem to understand what happens when you hit a target with a small bomb and it goes off in an ammo dump. Lots of very big secondary explosions which tend to blow a lot of stuff up. He’s also forgotten that if an enemy uses hospitals, schools and houses for military purposes, they become legitimate targets.

They said “deliberate attacks on civilians” constitute “war crimes” on both sides, though noting far fewer Israelis have been killed in the fighting.

Small problem here. Israel is not deliberately targeting civilians and these two morons know it. Israel has been using every means possible to warn the Palestinians in Gaza when an attack was inbound, providing them ample time to take cover. Hamas, Carter and Robinson’s newest best buddies, have forced the civilians back into the target area’s at gunpoint, shooting those who protest. Of course, these two then proceeded to double down on stupid.

The two “elders” (a group of former statesmen and activists) also pushed the West to formally recognize Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip but is considered a terror group by the U.S. They lauded the recently announced unity agreement between Hamas and Fatah, which controls the West Bank — an agreement that Obama’s State Department has voiced serious concerns about.

“The international community’s initial goal should be the full restoration of the free movement of people and goods to and from Gaza through Israel, Egypt and the sea. Concurrently, the United States and EU should recognize that Hamas is not just a military but also a political force,” Carter and Robinson wrote. “Hamas cannot be wished away, nor will it cooperate in its own demise. Only by recognizing its legitimacy as a political actor — one that represents a substantial portion of the Palestinian people — can the West begin to provide the right incentives for Hamas to lay down its weapons.”

And, as usual, Carter misses the target. Hamas is dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the extermination of the Jewish population. If he and Robinson had bothered to actually look, they would have noticed that most of the Arab world is not pounding on Israel, at least not as hard as they normally would. The see Hamas for what it is. An outright threat to their nations and their personal power.

Jimmy Carter has lost his title of “Worst President in American History” to Barack Obama. However, he still holds the title of “Worst Ex-President in American History” although Obama does still hold office. We’ll need to wait a few years after he leaves to see how bad he is as a former president.
