Obama orders airstrike against ISIS

Good day all. I haven’t said much regarding the nightmare going on in Iraq. A large terrorist organization, so radical even Al Qaeda allegedly stays away from them, is currently overrunning Iraq.

ISIS, which stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant ((Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant)) has been slaughtering their way across Iraq for a few months now. When I say slaughtering, that is exactly what I mean. They are currently committing religious genocide against Christians, literally decapitating children, killing the men, in many cases by crucifying them, raping women, and lining up captured Iraqi troops and shooting them.

This entire mess can be laid at the feet of the SCoaMF, Barack Obama and his band of merry morons. Der Fubar couldn’t wait to run away from Iraq, and basically snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Because Brave Sir Barry ran away, Iraq wasn’t fully stabilized nor was it’s army in the shape it needed to be to destroy ISIS. Instead, they have been overrun or run away.

Finally, King Putt deigned to notice that ISIS was making him look bad, and as we all know, anything that makes Il Douche look bad has to be destroyed. Of course, since the Golf Pro in Chief is an utter incompetent, not to mention probably supports what ISIS is doing, (Ok, tin foil hat territory there), he has decided that blowing up a few camels and some tents will show the world that he is a “Real Man” and not the hot cocoa slurping metrosexual that he really is.

So what did Obama do? Did he order in B-52’s to carpet bomb the ISIS forces? You are joking of course. No, he did his usual not much. According to Fox News:

Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby said Friday that two F/A-18 jets dropped 500-pound bombs on a piece of artillery and the truck towing it. The Pentagon said the military conducted the strike at 6:45 a.m. ET, against terrorists with the Islamic State (IS), the group formerly known as ISIS.

So Obama bombed a truck and an artillery piece. WhoopDeDoo! I’m not alone in my utter contempt for this so called “Strike against terrorists.” Two retired generals also blasted Obama, and far harder then he blasted ISIS. Here are some details from the Daily Mail:

Two retired four-star U.S. Army Generals heaped scorn Friday on President Barack Obama’s authorization of targeted airstrikes in northern Iraq, with one war hero calling it a ‘political gesture’ calculated to provide the impression that the U.S. is ‘doing something’ about a humanitarian crisis developing there.

‘There’s a huge tragedy unfolding: 1.5 million refugees, a couple of hundred thousand just in the last few weeks. 50,000 of this minority group stuck on – up in the mountains,’ Gen. Garry McCaffrey said on MSNBC. ‘But these are political gestures using military power.’

You should know by now General, that everything Obama does is a political gesture. That wimp doesn’t have a decisive bone in his body, unless it involves picking the right club for his next shot on the golf course.

‘We dropped three aircraft loads of water and food to 50,000 people in the mountains. Now we’re striking ISIS artillery units. It looks to me as if a lot of this is internal U.S. politics to show we’re doing something.’ ‘I mean, if you’re going to use military power,’ said McCaffrey, ‘you have to write down your objective and then use decisive force to achieve your objective. So I’m a little dismayed at what we’re up to here.’

That’s exactly what it is general, a political maneuver to show that Obama is “On top of this” nothing more. It certainly isn’t going to do anything to stop ISIS.

He called Obama’s strategic bombing ‘pinprick strikes,’ saying that ‘if you’re going to protect refugees, 50,000 people without water and food, you don’t do two F/A-18 strikes on an artillery unit somewhere in the vicinity.’

Strategic bombing? At best this was a tactical strike, (As the general well knows). If Obama were serious, he would have sent in hundreds of strike aircraft and pounded every ISIS asset they could find as well as providing tactical air cover for Iraqi troops as they rescued those people and kicked ISIS back into Syria where they belong. (Let Bashar al-Assad gas them. If any group deserved gassing, it’s ISIS) General Jack Keane also chipped in.

On the Fox News Channel, retired four-star General Jack Keane said that if Obama had approved Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s initial request three months ago for military aid, the situation in Iraq would look very different today.

‘We did not respond,’ Keane said, because the president came forward and said, “I’m going to make a condition for American military response to be a political reconciliation of the government in Iraq”.’

Community organizing at it’s best. King Putt didn’t want to make a decision because decisions are hard and require being responsible for what happens afterwords. Unless King Putt can blame Bush and/or the Republicans for anything that goes wrong, his first instinct is to go on vacation. This time, it’s all his and he can’t escape it.

House Speaker John Boehner, an Ohio Republican, heaped scorn on the White House shortly after the bombing runs were confirmed by a tweet from the Defense Department.

‘The president’s authorization of airstrikes is appropriate, but like many Americans, I am dismayed by the ongoing absence of a strategy for countering the grave threat ISIS poses to the region,’ the speaker said in a statement.

Now one of the things Der Fubar did was claim he had the authorization to bomb ISIS. Unlike Libya, I believe he did. As far as I know, the authorization to invade Iraq is still in force, so he could send in troops and bomb ISIS, at least until the money ran out. However, this being King Putt, little things like asking Congress for anything isn’t even on his radar.

ISIS isn’t yet a direct threat to the United States. They’re a little busy murdering Christians, (Which doesn’t bother Progressives much), raping women, (Which also doesn’t bother Progressives much since it isn’t happening to them), and ordering women to undergo genital mutilation ((Clitoridectomy or clitorectomy)) (Funny how the National Organization of Women is silent on these crimes, isn’t it?)

Of course, ISIS goal is a global Caliphate and they fully intend to try and conquer the United States. They have stated that this is their plan. According to the Daily Caller:

“I say to America that the Islamic Caliphate has been established,” Abu Mosa, a spokesman for the terror group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), told VICE Media in a video interview posted online Thursday. “Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq.” “We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House,” he added.

And I think we should take them at their word. They fully intend bring about a new dark age and return the world to the 7^th century. With people like Barack Obama, these animals will kill tens of millions of people before they are stopped. Right after 9/11, President George Bush referred to Islam as “The Religion of Peace.” That had to be one of his dumbest statements ever. Islam is a totalitarian political movement pretending to be a religion. It always has been and until the West wakes up and understands what is happening, these barbarians will continue slaughtering their way across the Middle East and then move into Europe. It’s going to take the nuclear destruction of American cities before we wake up and deal with this problem once and for all.
