Good day all. Yesterday, the story came out that the Obamacare site, (Healthcare.gov), had been breached by a hacker. This should come as no surprise to anyone who’s paid any attention to the fiasco that is Obamacare.
During the failed rollout, it came out that there was no security implemented on that site at all, and that even the simplest of hacks could get into the back end. I’ve written several posts regarding this mess going back over a year. Well, someone has breached the site. Here are the details from Marketwatch:
A hacker broke into part of the HealthCare.gov insurance enrollment website in July and uploaded malicious software, according to federal officials. Investigators found no evidence that consumers’ personal data was taken in the breach, federal officials said. The hacker appears only to have accessed a server used to test code for HealthCare.gov. The Department of Health and Human Services discovered the attack last week.

And I believe the government absolutely. Why they would never lie about something as important as our personal medical and financial information, would they? After all, Obama promised that we would have cheaper insurance and could keep our doctors. Oh wait a moment.
An HHS official said the attack appears to mark the first successful intrusion into the website, where millions of Americans bought insurance starting last year under the Affordable Care Act. It raised concerns among federal officials because of how easily the intruder gained access and how much damage could have occurred.
Allow me to make a small correction. This marks the first breach that these bozo’s have actually uncovered. Considering the gaping caverns that are the security holes in this disaster, I have little doubt that the system is totally breached and every byte of data is out there in Boris and Ming’s hands.
“Our review indicates that the server did not contain consumer personal information; data was not transmitted outside the agency, and the website was not specifically targeted,” the Department of Health and Human Services said in a written statement. “We have taken measures to further strengthen security.”

No, that server didn’t contain the information, but the other ones that have also, in all probability, breached do have that data. As to tightening the security? What did you do? Unplug the whole thing and shut it down? That’s the only way you will ever secure that train wreck.
Taken with recent data thefts from J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Home Depot Inc., and celebrities’ iPhones, the HealthCare.gov hack further underscores that large organizations haven’t yet mastered how to secure the troves of data they collect from consumers.
And there is one big difference between the Obamacare sites and the corporate sites. Those companies that got hacked have top of the line security and are moving to fix whatever hole was found. They also built their systems from the ground up with security in mind. Obamacare was just thrown together with no idea how to secure the systems.

Now they are about to force more people into this pile of liquified horse manure. It still doesn’t work and everyone hates it except the totalitarians in the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrat party. They will do absolutely anything to keep this thing running and continue to force people into it against their will. This thing needs to die now.
