Goodbye Former Senator Landrieu

Good day all. This is a quick followup to my post yesterday regarding the political career of Mary Landrieu. The polls in Louisiana opened at 6am local time and closed at 8pm local time. (Louisiana time for those of you running around with your hands in the air)

As expected, Landrieu went down to a crushing defeat, losing to Dr. Cassidy by some 15 points.

When Mary Landrieu finally conceded her bitter, crushing loss, her speech was filled with things about how wonderful she was. (Must have been taking speech giving lessons from Der Fubar) What wasn’t seen was this small bit that was excised by the Obama Steno Pool once she found out she had been defeated. Fortunately, I managed to find the missing segment.

Dr. Cassidy was gracious in victory. However, considering the amount of grief thrown at the Tea Party and conservatives, I’m not in the gracious mood. This is my response to all those losers on the Progressive Liberal Democrat side of thing.

I read somewhere this morning that some 25 Democrat senators who voted for Obamacare have left office since it was rammed through. Some died, some resigned, but something like 16 Democrats lost their bids for reelection and were replaced by Republicans. I call that a good start. Now we just need to hold on and increase our gains, and finish flushing the Establishment RINO class out of office and into the sewers of history.

As for Landrieu? I hear Wal-mart is hiring.
