Crybaby Boehner is being challenged

Good day all. Now that the new Congress is about to be seated, the process is beginning for the major seats in the house of representatives. This includes the Speaker of the House. Currently, John “Crybaby” Boehner is the speaker, but after two terms of his whining, crying and caving in to Obama on everything, people have had enough.

Back in 2013, there were people who challenged him for the speakership, but most of them really didn’t have a chance. This time, it is possible that Boehner might be tossed over the side. According to polls, some 60% of Republicans have had it with him. Already several Republican representatives have announced they will not support Boehner any longer. At least one of them is going to challenge Boehner. Here are some of the details from The Hill:

Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas) said Sunday that he will challenge John Boehner (R-Ohio) as Speaker in the new Congress.

“I’m putting my name out there today to be another candidate for Speaker,” Gohmert said on “Fox and Friends.”

Gohmert said that after “years of broken promises, it’s time for a change.”

I’ve heard of Gohmert, but I don’t know much about him. He appears to be a conservative Republican, not an Establishment RINO like Boehner and his cronies. Others are announcing that they are also running or will not support the Crybaby.

Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.) on Saturday announced that he would not support Boehner for Speaker.

“This is not a personal attack against Mr. Boehner, however, the people desire and deserve a choice,” Yoho said in a Facebook post. “In November, they resoundingly rejected the status quo.”

We the people rejected the status quo to the tune of blowing one of Boehner’s cronies in the leadership out in the primaries.

“Eventually, the goal is second, third, fourth round, we have enough people that say ‘you know what, it really is time for a change,’ ” Gohmert said Sunday. “’You deceived us when you went to Obama and Pelosi to get your votes for the cromnibus. You said you’d fight amnesty tooth and nail. You didn’t, you funded it.’ ”

Of course he did. Boehner will do whatever his boyfriend Obama tells him to do. Boehner has made many promises and kept…none.

“In 2010, Boehner and other leaders said if you put us in the majority, we will have time to read the bills,” Gohmert said. “That hasn’t happened. We saw that with the cromnibus, again.”

What? Boehner lied? Say it isn’t so! Of course he lied. He is a classic RINO and is only interested in one thing. Keeping his ass in Congress, preferably as Speaker of the house, but in a pinch, he will accept being the minority leader. The only problem with that plan is that Crybaby has ticked off way to many people.

“With a growing Republican majority in the House and a historically high number of liberty-voting fiscal conservatives within it, there is an urgent need replace Speaker Boehner with fresh, bold leadership that better represents the views of the whole caucus,” FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe said in a statement on Sunday.

The only question is, will it be enough? Ed Morrissey of Hot Air, who is also rather RINOish, doesn’t think so. He thinks that if this were a serious matter, we would see people like Trey Gowdy or Paul Ryan challenging Boehner. While I can see Representative Gowdy as speaker, he’s busy with his select committee trying to find out what really happened in Benghazi along with other Obama scandals. If he takes a run at the speakership and wins, he will have to step down from those committees. If he loses, Boehner will remove him. Either way, Gowdy is more important right where he is.

As to Paul Ryan? He’s showing that he really isn’t up to the challenge, and his “Cunning plans” to balance the budget seem to be more of the same. Raise taxes for promises of cuts. Nope, he won’t be supported by the Conservatives in the House. According to Fox News, there are currently 9 members who have declared their opposition to Boehner.

The nine members who have declared their opposition to Boehner are Yoho and Gohmert, and Reps. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla.; Paul Gosar, R-Ariz.; Steve King, R-Iowa; Dave Brat, R-Va.; Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind.; Water Jones, R-N.C.; and Thomas Massie, R-Ky.

Additionally, there are others who will see which way the wind blows.

“We have heard from a lot of Republicans that said, ‘I would vote for somebody besides Speaker Boehner, but nobody will put their name out there,'” Gohmert told “Fox & Friends” on Sunday morning, in announcing his own bid. “That changed [Saturday] with Ted Yoho.” Gohmert also hinted that at least one other member would launch a challenge from within the GOP.

They won’t come out publicly because they are afraid. I’m not surprised since most of the membership of both the of the house and senate are political cowards who stand only for themselves.

There are more and more people coming in on the Republican side who are putting their political careers in the House on the line, but will it be enough? At the very least, I would like to see Crybaby Boehner get a real scare thrown into him. At best, I want his butt put in a chair in the back of the House chamber, behind a column where we won’t have to look at his phony tanned face any longer. Honestly, I don’t expect much to change and we will be stuck with this worthless RINO for another two years.
