Democrats can’t govern, or park

Good day all. This video came out a while back and has since gone viral. It shows a member of Congress attempting to park her minivan. This “Representative of the people” is a Democrat. I think her driving skills mirror her legislative ability perfectly.

Now to be fair, this woman is not an actual member of congress. She is actually a Delegate from the District of Columbia, better known to those of you who are idiots, as Washington, D.C. Here are a few details from Fox News:

A video has gone viral of D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton executing an objectively poor parking job — even by Washington standards. The incident, and video, were first reported by Roll Call. A tipster was apparently on the scene and watched as Norton angled her car into a diagonal spot near Capitol Hill, ending up practically perpendicular to the surrounding vehicles.

An aide apparently was on the scene helping D.C.’s non-voting delegate. They could be seen returning to the car — seemingly to retrieve something — but then leaving without trying to re-park.

Well, what do you expect from a member of the “Ruling Class” as the Democrats consider themselves? But wait! There’s more!

Roll Call reported that the tipster said Norton even “hit the car next to her and did not leave a note, though I couldn’t see any damage.”

Norton’s office denied hitting the other cars of course, and it is possible that she, somehow, missed them. However, a new statement was released from her office on the parking incident.

On Thursday, the delegate released a statement acknowledging she could have done a better job: “I may need to go take some new parking lessons, or perhaps upgrade to a self-parking car.”

Perhaps you should just move to Arizona and drive around in a golf cart. Perhaps you might be less dangerous. Oh wait. The cart you want is currently in use, isn’t it?

Rather then try and describe the massively incompetent parking job, watch it for your self. As we used to say in the olden days, “ROLL TAPE!” (Does anyone still use video tape these days?)

Words fail me. I could understand a problem with parallel parking, that’s always a tough parking job. What we’re seeing here is that Eleanor Holmes Norton is so stupefyingly incompetent that should should not be allowed to drive, or even be allowed out of the house on her own.

It’s obvious she entered the parking area going in the wrong direction! Well, she is a Democrat and they are known for always going the wrong way. I really hope she did do some minor damage to the other cars and just walked away. Now the owners of those cars have video evidence of Norton committing a hit and wander away violation.
