Texas attack frightens FBI, others

Good day all. The fallout from the RIF’s attempt at shooting up an art gallery in Texas continues. It now looks like the FBI, Homeland Security and the entire alphabet soup of federal agencies are in a panic about what almost happened.

Department-of-Injustice

As we’ve come to learn over the last week, the two room temperature morons who thought it would be a good idea to play Jihad in Texas, have been on the government’s radar for a while. They just didn’t do anything about it. Now they are in a panic about what to do. Here are some of the details from ABC News:

The FBI has ordered more U.S. terror suspects be put under 24/7 surveillance in the wake of the Garland, Texas shooting and a renewed emphasis by ISIS and other terror groups for potential American recruits to launch attacks at home, according to three FBI officials.

This would make sense normally, but this is the Fu***ng Bunch of Idiots we’re talking about here. In their minds, they highly dangerous Tea Party and other constitutional conservatives along with free speech supporters and anyone working at FOX News, is a far bigger threat then innocent members of the “Religion of Peace” (My ASS)

The officials told ABC News that agents have been ordered to review the cases of so-called “marginal” or “borderline” suspects, terms that had been applied to one of the gunmen in the Texas attack, Elton Simpson of Phoenix. FBI agents were familiar with Simpson and the views he espoused, but he was not put under 24/7 surveillance. He was viewed as being “more talk than action,” one agent said.

This is called “Locking the barn door after a Texas traffic cop shot the horse’s ass.”

We do not want to risk another marginal, homegrown extremist who was viewed as dangerous going active,” said one of the FBI officials. All three FBI officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly.

And once again, it would be nice to know just who you consider to be an “Extremist.” If you would like a hint, just take a look at who the Southern Poverty Law Center considers to be an extremist. It’s pretty much anyone who disagrees with the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats.

A typical tolerant Democrat

The officials who spoke to ABC News described a “panic” and “crisis” inside the FBI because the agency and the rest of the nation’s homeland security infrastructure are not built to deal with the non-stop flow of homegrown extremists and possible threats that mark the current environment within the U.S. Another FBI spokesperson did not respond to request for comment on the broader concerns at the Bureau.

This is a bit of a surprise as well as very worrying, and in more ways than one. What they hell have we spent hundreds of billions of dollars on? Oh I know. It’s all gone to spying on Americans who might want to reign in some of these agencies and restore a constitutional balance to the United States. Actually keeping an eye on real threats instead of make believe ones? Why that’s just to difficult.

double-facepalm

The officials said the FBI is increasingly seeing online ISIS supporters and recruiters urge Americans to direct their efforts to target their own country if they can’t travel to Syria or Iraq to join the Islamic State. In one Twitter message to Simpson from an ISIS recruiter known as “Miski” prior to the Texas shooting, Simpson was told he could more easily meet Allah by staying in the U.S. than by “touring,” or traveling to Syria.

And as was recently demonstrated in Texas, American are more then capable of arranging the meeting.

guns r welcome

ABC News contributor Steve Gomez, the former head of counter-terror investigations at the FBI’s Los Angeles division, said, “This upends the entire U.S. counter-terror protocol, which has always called for the U.S. to fight terror in the Mideast to keep it from winding up inside the homeland.”

One problem with that strategy is that SCoaMF in the Oval office. The one who outright refuses to admit that there is any threat from Islam. When you have an administration that repeatedly denies that there have been any Islamic attacks in the United States, and has actively backed radical Islamic groups in the Middle East, is it any wonder that the agencies meant to protect us have no clue what is going on?

More than a hundred U.S. residents are considered possible terror threats, the FBI announced recently.

Residents or Citizens? If they aren’t citizens and they are seen as a threat, send them back where they came from.

The number of “borderline” or “marginal” suspects is substantially larger and would badly strain FBI resources if they required 24/7 surveillance by agents. Typically, it takes at least 30 agents for a full, round-the-clock surveillance of just one suspect.

Again, if someone isn’t a citizen, and there is evidence they are a threat, ship them back to the middle eastern hellhole they came from. That’s what should be done. Pity that Der Fubar has other ideas. As to dealing with citizens? That is going to be an issue, but it does look like the FBI had some inkling that the Islamic cadavers were going to Texas.

About three hours before the event was to begin, the FBI sent Garland police an intelligence bulletin warning that Simpson may be interested in traveling to Texas and attacking the event, according to Comey, who said the bulletin included a picture of Simpson and a suspected license plate.

nothing to see here

I wonder if this actually filtered down to the security detail at the event? Somehow, I don’t think it did.

The incident is the starkest example to date showing the tenuous position American counter-terror officials now find themselves in. “It’s back to the unknown, like post 9/11,” said one senior FBI officials. “Are we really one step ahead of it? The threat has evolved in the just last six months.”

And why is this a problem now? Because we have an administration that has been kowtowing to Islamic radicals and indicted co-conspirators such as CAIR. Currently, the Patriot Act is up for re-authorization. The courts have just shot down the vacuuming up of people’s mobile and computer data again. The Patriot act is unconstitutional and was jammed through in a panic after 9/11. It has failed to stop any attacks and the abuses of the constitutional rights by various agencies finally led to Edward Snowden blowing the whistle on the who sordid mess.

You would think that Congress would rethink how all this works, considering the repeated failures, but no. We have the new Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell pushing hard to re-authorize this piece of totalitarian police state legislation with the backing of statists on both sides of the aisle. None of it is going to work and will only make things worse.

We will see more attacks, and eventually smarter RIF’s will figure out that they should hit gun free areas if they want to rack up a body count. When that starts happening, you will see two things happen. The Statists will ramp up their move to create a full surveillance police state, and citizens will start ignoring local laws preventing them from carrying and using guns to protect themselves. Would you like to guess what will happen when these two situations collide with each other? Take your time, I’ll wait.

Which is what they did, that was a citizen disarmament zone. An on duty police officer stopped the RIFs.

    • I was not aware that the museum was a gun free, terrorists welcome zone. But then, as a gun free zone, they did make sure there were a number of people with guns, including a traffic cop coming up on retirement. 😀
