Good day all. I just saw a story on the Washington Times reporting that Barack Obama is going to a federal prison next week.
According to the Washington Times, this will be the first time any president has ever gone to prison. Here are the details:
Mr. Obama will become the first president to visit a federal prison when he travels Thursday to the El Reno federal prison in Oklahoma, the White House said Friday.
Obama is probably checking out his future accommodations no doubt.
The president will visit the medium-security prison near Oklahoma City to talk about criminal justice reform, said White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
Wait, What?
While there, he’s expected to commute the sentences of dozens of federal inmates who are in jail on drug charges.
The prison visit will come just two days after Mr. Obama travels to Philadelphia, where he’ll address the NAACP’s annual conference on the need for criminal justice reform and outline “the unfairness” of the system, Mr. Earnest said.
Let me guess? Der Fubar’s idea of “unfairness” is jailing criminals who happen to be of recent African decent?
The president’s visit will be recorded for an HBO documentary to be aired later this year, according to VICE Media. Mr. Obama and VICE founder Shane Smith, host of the special, will tour the facility and meet with prisoners, prison staff, and law enforcement officials, the company said.
I should have known, it has little to do with actual issues dealing with the criminal justice system, the state of the laws in the United States and the criminalization of pretty much all aspects of traditional American life. Nope, it’s all about Il Douche.
The interviews will be “part of a broader HBO documentary looking at the pervasive impacts of America’s approach to crime and imprisonment, chronicling the many interlocking pieces of the sprawling system, from prisoners and their families to the judiciary and community reformers,” VICE Media said.
Look, I agree that we need to look at the criminal justice system in the United States, but we also need to consider just what Obama and his minions really want. Basically giving anyone with a dark skin tone a free pass to rob, rape and murder with impunity.
If King Putt wants to deal with the issues of crime and punishment, then he should start with his own Justice Department and regulatory agencies that have been outright ignoring the Congress, the rule of law and the constitution. Then he should sit down with his minions in the House and Senate, led by McConnell and Boehner and figure out what needs to be fixed.
While he’s out there, he should check out the accommodations and reserve a suite for some time in 2017. Perhaps he can get a discount if he books rooms for his former Attorney General and Secretary of State.
