Good day all. This morning, as I was sleazing my way around the innerwebtubes, I happened upon a column in the American Spectator by Marilia Duffles that was basically nothing more than one big tongue bath for Ohio Governor John Kasich.
As you may have guessed by now, I don’t support Governor Kasich in his run for the office of President of the United States. After watching his performance as Governor in Ohio, it became apparent that he was a classic “Republican In Name Only.” In other words, a moderate, (if there is any such thing these days), Democrat.
While reading through the comments on the column, one came up from a person named “Pete.” He went through the litany of everything wrong with Kasich and the actual column in the American Spectator. I won’t repeat it here, you can read what “Pete” said in the column. However, he did add at the end of his response to the column that he could see Kasich as the Vice-President.
That got me thinking. One of the things mentioned in the column, and something that Kasich loves to throw out there as often as possible, was the fact his father was a mailman. Why this is important is beyond me. Still, it gave me the idea for the perfect job for Kasich.
He should be the next Postmaster General of the United States! Since he’s always talking about how “Daddy” was a mailman, I think it’s a splendid idea that he become the Postmaster General. It shows that he supports “Family Businesses.”
