Good day all. As you will see in this and other posts I’m working on, the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats are screaming for outright gun confiscation in the wake of the Colorado and California shootings.
The Colorado shooting took place in a Planned Parenthood abortion factory clinic. There is still a question on whether or not the nutcase was actually after Planned Parenthood. (Looking at his mugshot, nutcase fits perfectly) The California massacre took place last week and has been declared by Obama to be an incident of Workplace Violence Workplace Jihad Islamic Terrorism.
The PLFD’s, Social Justice Warriors and the Main Stream Media have ramped up their claims that “Gun Violence is at an all time high!” Nothing could be further from the truth. Crime in general is dropping and criminal use of firearms is also down, with one notable exception. That would be areas declared “Gun Free Zones.” Breitbart looked into this recently:
On December 3, The Washington Post reported that gun crime has been on the decline for about 20 years, except for high-profile shootings in gun-free zones; WaPo claims those shootings are on the increase. According to WaPo, “In 1993, there were seven homicides by firearm for every 100,000 Americans. … By 2013, that figure had fallen by nearly half, to 3.6 [per 100,000].”
Breitbart News previously pointed to this decline and explained it correlated with a massive increase in privately owned firearms over the same period of time. For example, Congressional Research Service showed that the number of privately owned firearms increased from 192 million in 1994 to 310 million in 2009. And record background checks under Obama make it easy to see how tens of millions more privately owned guns have found their way into Americans’ hands since 2009. So gun ownership increased for 20 years, but “gun homicides” decreased–except in gun free zones.
Gee, I wonder why shootings have increased in gun free zones? I would have thought, (In the way PLFD’s think), that all the areas where there are more people with guns, it would be a nonstop Wild West gun fights in the streets? Gun free zones should be just the opposite since no one is allowed to have a gun. If you can’t have a gun, than you can’t shoot anyone. (Hey, I said it was liberal logic)
WaPo points to a study by Mother Jones that claims that high-profile shootings began increasing in gun-free zones in late 2011/early 2012. The examples Mother Jones provides are the Aurora movie theater, Sandy Hook Elementary, and the D.C. Navy Yard, all of which were gun-free zones.
Other examples of shootings in gun-free zones that could have been cited are Arapahoe High School (December 2013), Fort Hood (April 2014), Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church (June 2015), Chattanooga military offices (July 2015), the Lafayette Grand Theatre (July 2015), and Umpqua Community College (October 1).
But that can’t be right. As I mentioned above, (Channeling your typical Liberal), Gun Free Zones should make us all safe. It’s the areas where anyone can have a gun that are far more dangerous. It’s so obvious to you micro-penis angry white cro-magnon’s that guns are evil and turn anyone who looks at one into a raving mass murdering monster. Isn’t it?
Increases in gun ownership correlated with drastic reductions in firearm-related homicides, but creating zones where law-abiding citizens are denied the ability to be armed for self-defense have allowed high-profile attackers to find easy targets.
But, but, but that’s impossible! This means that if you own and know how to use a gun responsibly, then criminals go away? How is this possible? (End channeling moonbat)
The answer is simple. Criminals avoid areas and people where they know or suspect that their targets may be armed. Why? Because they DON’T WANT TO GET SHOT! In every case where someone was on site for one of these attempted mass murders, and had a firearm, the attack was either stopped before it got started, or stopped with before to many victims were hurt. This is why you see nutcases and terrorists hitting places where they know no one has the means to defend themselves. They can slaughter with impunity until the police show up, usually after dozens of people are dead, dying or injured.
Gun Free Zones are nothing more than well marked target rich areas. Liberals can’t stand the idea that an armed citizen right there is better than waiting for the police to arrive later to scrap up the bodies. This is why they have lost the argument, even if they refuse to accept this fact.
