Good day all. 2016 is less than a week away and the election ramps up to full power. There’s a lot happening, but according to the National Review, the Democrats plan is to go full totalitarian.
Anyone who has followed the Progressive movement in the Democrat Party over the last century will see that it has mutated into something that would fit perfectly under a Soviet style or National Socialist style government. We’ve seen how the “students” on collage campuses are all set to repeal the 1st amendment, and the Democrats outright hate the 2nd Amendment. Now they are calling for things like summery arrests of anyone who disagrees with them. Here are the details from the National Review:
At the beginning of December, Rolling Stone writer Jeff Goodell asked Secretary of State John Kerry whether Charles and David Koch, two libertarian political activists, should be considered — his remarkable words — “an enemy of the state.” He posed the same question about Exxon, and John Kerry, who could have been president of these United States, said that he looked forward to the seizure of Exxon’s assets for the crime of “proselytizing” impermissibly about the question of global warming.
An Enemy of the State? That’s right out of Orwell’s 1984, as well as any totalitarian regime. And Kerry being just fine with going after Exxon or the Koch brothers? Kerry is a sworn officer of the United States government. He should have shut down Goodell immediately. That he didn’t speaks volumes about John Forbes Kerry’s mindset. National Review also speaks of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump may talk like a brownshirt, but the Democrats mean business. For those of you keeping track, the Democrats and their allies on the left have now: voted in the Senate to repeal the First Amendment, proposed imprisoning people for holding the wrong views on global warming, sought to prohibit the showing of a film critical of Hillary Rodham Clinton, proposed banning politically unpopular academic research, demanded that funding politically unpopular organizations and causes be made a crime and that the RICO organized-crime statute be used as a weapon against targeted political groups. They have filed felony charges against a Republican governor for vetoing a piece of legislation, engaged in naked political persecutions of members of Congress, and used the IRS and the ATF as weapons against political critics.
People and organizations that don’t like Trump jump on him for wanting to round up illegal aliens and shipping the back where they came from, building the “Trump Wall” to keep them from entering illegally as well as banning anyone from Islamic countries. Trump does tend to go a bit over the top, but he is also within the Constitution. Defending the borders? Yep, that’s the job of the federal government. Determining who will be allowed to come into the United States? Federal Government. The Left as well as the Establishment RINO’s forget that people in other countries have no right to come here, and a lot of people are saying those who are here illegally have no rights at all, other than to be shipped back as fast as possible. Then we have the collage campuses.
On the college campuses, they shout down unpopular ideas or simply forbid nonconforming views from being heard there in the first place. They have declared academic freedom an “outdated concept” and have gone the full Orwell, declaring that freedom is oppressive and that they should not be expected to tolerate ideas that they do not share. They are demanding mandatory ideological indoctrination sessions for nonconforming students. They have violently assaulted students studying in libraries and assaulted student journalists documenting their activities. They have staged dozens of phony hate crimes and sexual assaults as a pretext for persecuting unpopular organizations and people.
People in collages who are accused of any politically incorrect thinking or actions have ended up in front of what amounts to star chambers with no recourse to legal representation, facing their accusers or any other system you would expect in a legal proceeding. People’s lives have been ruined by these false accusation. The good news is people do fight back. However, what the left loses in the courts and the voting booth, they try to gain through typical storm trooper tactics.
What they cannot achieve by legislation or litigation, they seek to achieve by simple violence, left-wing activists having smashed, looted, and burned portions of Ferguson, Mo., and Baltimore, where Koreans and other Asian minorities were specifically targeted. As on college campuses, they have made a point of assaulting journalists documenting their violence. They have rioted in Philadelphia and in other cities.
You would think that the Candidates on the Democrat side would try and stop these thugs. The problem is, they actually like the idea of have anyone who stands in their way attacked.
They are not backing away from that. Hillary Rodham Clinton may do her vice-principal shtick, but Bernie Sanders is calling for “revolution,” and by “revolution” he means crushing the economic and political rights of opponents in order to prevent them from having a say in political debate. Sounding oddly like Henry Ford, he seethes as he talks about scheming foreigners and international bankers working nefariously behind the scenes to undermine American interests, while his admirers brandish such traditional symbols of totalitarianism as the hammer-and-sickle flag.
Sanders has no real chance of winning. The only way would be if Cankles were actually indicted and arrested for her crimes. (And that won’t happen as long as King Putt is in office) If he did win, and tried to push through his plans, he would be stopped by the congress. (Although they haven’t amounted to much of late), if the Democrats actually regained control, I do believe they would start the process of ending the United States as free nation.
That is guaranteed to lead to a violent confrontation, and when I say violent I’m talking average Americans tasking the guns out and moving on the leftists. This is the one thing the left doesn’t seem to understand. The people they vilify and attack also have most of the guns. They have had enough with the criminal activities of groups like Black Lives Matter, (Which is about as racist a group as the Ku Klux Klan), and the various global warming and climate change groups.
Eventually, the rioters are going to run into a group that isn’t going to give a damn about their rights, and you will see a full blown massacre as the rioters and looters run into people who have read Matt Bracken’s blog post When the music stops – How America’s cities may explode in violence. I’ve written about this previously, and Mr. Bracken lays out a plan to crush a group of rioters. Since it isn’t a government force, they will have no one to turn their anger on.
This is what is so frightening. America is broken. We are split in ways that remind me of the run up to the American Civil War. The reasons are very different, it isn’t regional, (As was the Civil War, North vs South), it will be political. Basically the takers and the tyrants against the average person. If we can’t stop this, it will be bloody. A civil war today won’t be like the last one. It will be small groups going after others. Think Beirut in the 70’s and that is what could happen here.
The best way to stop this from happening is to break the current Democrat party, along with their Establishment RINO Republicans, and put people into office at all levels who will support the Constitution and reign in the out of control government as well as ending this multicultural nonsense that the Progressive have been shoving down the throats of Americans for the last 50 years. We are one people. We are Americans. Those who use a hyphen in describing themselves, (African-American, Mexican-American, etc) are not Americans. They need to grow up and stop Balkanizing the United States.
