Good day all. Last December I wrote a couple of posts on MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry. I was not kind to the jumped up moonbat extraordinaire to say the least. Well, Ms. Melissa “Everyone is a racist!” Harris-Perry has been invited to seek other opportunities elsewhere.
MSNBC has canned her moonbat ass. The final straw appears to have come when Harris-Perry refused to appear on her show and sent off an email claiming, what else, racism. Here are some of the details from The Washington Post:
MSNBC has parted ways with host Melissa Harris-Perry after she complained about preemptions of her weekend program and implied that there was a racial aspect to the cable-news network’s treatment, insiders at MSNBC said.
These pre-emptions apparently were due to this little thing called “The Election” and the results of the primaries and caucuses. Of course, according to Little Miss Moonbat, elections are racist.
Harris-Perry refused to appear on her program Saturday morning, telling her co-workers in an email that she felt “worthless” to the NBC-owned network.
From what I’ve seen, she pretty much was, since her ratings were virtually nonexistent.
“I will not be used as a tool for their purposes,” wrote Harris-Perry, who is African American. “I am not a token, mammy or little brown bobble head. I am not owned by [NBC executives] or MSNBC. I love our show. I want it back.”

And there she goes, screaming “RACISIM!!” because the little whiny crybaby didn’t get what she wanted. Well, MSNBC has canned her worthless backside. My guess is they’re run some informercials in her spot, and probably get better ratings too.
The rebuke, which became public when it was obtained by the New York Times, has triggered discussions involving the network, Harris-Perry and her representatives about the terms of her departure, said people at MSNBC, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the talks with Perry have not been finalized.
Oh I think they’ve been finalized. They probably went “Don’t let the door hit you in your enormous ass on your way out.”
The flap with Harris-Perry follows a strategic transformation of MSNBC that has swept up several of its minority program hosts. Specifically, the network — which typically finishes far behind Fox News and CNN in cable-news ratings — has been trying to emphasize breaking-news coverage during daytime hours while maintaining a slate of liberal hosts during prime-time hours at night.
Yeah, the network would actually like to turn a profit for once. I know, for most of the moonbat hosts, who probably make 6 or 7 figure salaries, profit is a dirty word.
Like its competitors, it has emphasized breaking campaign coverage, which lately has bumped Harris-Perry from her regular spot.
And the hosts on the other networks fully understand that these things will happen. The good ones will actually try and work with their networks and take on some of the news coverage of the elections. Of course, Melissa Harris-Perry, like the President she so admires, thinks the entire world revolves around her. Guess she’s just learned that it doesn’t, and the Planet Harris-Perry has just been flung off into deep space.
MSNBC executives said that they were surprised by Harris-Perry’s blast on Friday and that it may have stemmed from her perception — incorrect at the time, but now a reality — that her weekend program was about to be canceled. “She’s a brilliant, intelligent but challenging and unpredictable personality,” one executive said.

So basically, she was nuttier than a fruitcake?
“There was no plan to cancel her.”
And now there is. Good bye and good riddance to Princess Moonbat. Perhaps MSNBC might actually become a network actually worth watching someday. And perhaps I’ll win the lottery.
