Good day all. Today is Super Tuesday. For those who can’t be bothered to actually learn anything, (Pretty much every Social Justice Warrior out there), this is the day a large percentage of delegates are chosen in various state primaries and caucuses.
On the Democrat side, this will probably mean the end of Comrade Bernie’s plans to reduce the United States to the economic levels of Zimbabwe and Cankles Clinton becomes the most corrupt nominee in Democrat Party history. On the Republican side, we’re going to have some real fun.
Donald Trump is expected to win most of the states tonight, with possibly one or two going to Ted Cruz. (Texas is holding it’s primary today and Cruz has the home town advantage) The big question will be Marco the Rubot. Will he win any states at all. Already there are calls from Trump for Rubot to pull the plug and close down his campaign. Here are a few details from Politico:
Donald Trump on Tuesday called on Marco Rubio to drop out of the 2016 presidential race if he doesn’t do well on Super Tuesday. “I think he has to get out,” Trump told Fox News in a phone interview. “You know, he hasn’t won anything, and Ted Cruz very rightly points out, you know, Marco has not won.”
The best Marco the Rubot has done is place second in New Hampshire. According to the polls I’ve seen, he will probably lose his own state of Florida when they hold their primary later this month.
Trump, Rubio and Cruz are generally seen as the only three candidates with a viable path to the Republican nomination. Trump has steamrolled to double-digit margins of victory in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. And Cruz won the Feb. 1 Iowa caucuses and is expected to win Texas, which awards the largest share of delegates on Tuesday, but Rubio has yet to win a state — though he maintains he will win Florida on March 15.
Marco Rubio chose not to run for reelection to the Senate, becoming a one term senator. The reasons have not been announced, but I suspect that he saw that he would lose a general election and might even face a tough primary. Why? Because he lied to the voters who supported him and has been pushing amnesty and a path to citizenship for criminal aliens. His open borders stance and helping to expand the H1B Visa program at the expense of his own constituents didn’t help matters.
Frankly, Rubio’s only chance at the nomination will be a brokered convention. The GOP(e) so hates Trump and Cruz, that if it goes to a second round of votes, they will shaft the GOP base and put Rubio on the ticket, even if he loses every single primary. Then, in November we end up with President Cankles Felon Clinton.
We should have the results for everything tomorrow morning. If Cruz doesn’t win Texas, it will be pretty much the end of the road for him. Rubio will probably hold on until Florida and may have enough money to ride the wave of failures to the convention. As for Trump? I have no doubt we will be seeing the RINO’s screeching like harpies that he will destroy the Republican party. I guess the GOP(e) hasn’t figured out that the GOP Base is just fine with that.
