Superduper Tuesday 2016, conclusions

Good day all. Well, yesterday was Super Tuesday and the results are in. As expected, Trump did well. Ted Cruz won Texas and Oklahoma and Alaska. Kasich and Dr. Carson won nothing, and Marco The Rubot was give the consolation prize of Minnesota.

Now comes the fun part as the pundits and beltway boneheads try to spin these results to make Trump look bad, Cruz look mediocre and Rubio “Now on a path to the nomination!!!”

eye roll

Now here’s what I’m seeing. Trump doesn’t seem to do well in states using the caucus system instead of the normal primary with a secret ballot. Cruz picked up Alaska, which uses that system and Rubot took Minnesota, which also uses that system. Of the primary states, Cruz took Texas and Oklahoma, which isn’t surprising. What would have been surprising is if he had lost Texas. That would basically mean, “Game over!”

The next series of Republican primaries and caucuses will be March 5th, in Maine. (Caucus) Recently, Maine Governor LaPage endorsed Donald Trump after being released from his prior endorsement of Gov. Christie. Next week there will be a few more primaries and then the week of the 15th, we have the Florida primary. As I understand it, all the primaries from now on are “Winner takes all” with regards to the delegates. Florida is the big one and is a must win for Marco Rubio. If he loses Florida, he’s done and it comes down to Trump and Cruz.

train wreck!

If Rubio wins, then we are looking at the very real possibility of a brokered convention with the nomination taken from Trump, who will probably have the majority of committed delegates, and handed to that lying open borders, Amnesty and Path to citizenship for criminal aliens, Cuban Obama, Marco Rubio Rubot. If that happens, you can count on a shattered Republican party, probably the rise of a new third party and President for Life, Hillary “Felon” Clinton.

Hillary for Prison

I’ve looked at a few of the GOP(e) pundits this morning, both print and televised, and they are still in denial over what is happening to the Republican party. They are insisting that Trump can’t beat Clinton, and that only Rubio has any chance at all. From what I’m seeing, it’s the opposite. Rubot has no chance of winning, and he might actually cost the Republicans both the house and senate. That would be the final nail in the Establishment Republican party as people would abandon it wholesale.

This has to be one of the most exciting primary seasons in decades. We have a candidate that is looking at criminal indictment, another that has never run for office before and is hated by the GOP Establishment. We have a couple of junior senators, one who called the Senate Majority leader a liar on the floor and isn’t liked at all by the GOP(e). (although many consider him to be the second choice after Trump)

The other who lied to his constituency, isn’t running for reelection to his senate seat and has basically the same experience as Obama. (Rubio was probably going to face a primary challenger if he had stood for reelection) Finally, we have a communist from Maine who used to write rape fantasy stories, is mathematically challenged, and has never held a real job for any length of time in his life. I guess it’s true, the Chinese did curse us and we are living in “Interesting times.”
