Good day all. Today, Florida and Ohio go to the polls for both the Republican and Democrat primaries. Ohio is to close to call, between John Kasich and Donald Trump. Kasich has the advantage since he is the governor of Ohio.
However, Kasich came out with a few statements that go against what most of the voters in this country want regarding illegal aliens. Trump wants to secure the borders, ostensibly by building the “Trump Wall.” John Kasich wants to go the Jeb! Bush/Marco Rubio route with amnesty and a path to citizenship for these criminals. Here are some of the details from Breitbart:
With Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential hopes diminishing as his personal demons catch up with him—from his relationship with billionaire Norman Braman to his role in pushing Obama’s amnesty—the donor class seems to be turning its eyes to John Kasich’s last stand in Ohio. The hope seems to be that a Kasich win in Ohio will not only deny GOP frontrunner Donald Trump delegates, but will also create a new vehicle for arriving at a contested convention.
Here we go again with the GOP(e) RINO’s looking for any way possible to hold on to their power and privileges. Pity they haven’t really looked at what Kasich is all about.
Because the Kasich campaign was largely ignored as a non-factor prior to Rubio’s polling collapse, Kasich went months with virtually no scrutiny of even his most bizarre statements on the campaign trail.
I have seen some of the statements Kasich has made. He should be running as a Democrat, not a Republican. He fits right in with that pack of Moonbats. Now, since Rubio’s about to go down in flames in his home state, people are now taking a look at him.
However, in recent days, Trump has increasingly set his sights on Kasich—whether it be Kasich’s role at Lehman Brothers during the time of the economic collapse, as well as Kasich’s support for NAFTA and Obama’s Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement—a deal which Donald Trump and Sen. Jeff Sessions have warned would destroy Ohio’s auto industry.
From what I’ve been reading about Kasich’s term as Governor, he’s been nothing more than a supporter of every big government plan out there. While he claims to oppose Obamacare, he’s done everything he can to implement it, over the objections of pretty much everyone in Ohio. Then he’s lied about doing so. According to the American Spectator:
Ohio governor and GOP presidential hopeful John Kasich says he opposes Obamacare. Yet somehow, he has managed to embrace the law in every possible way. He wanted to implement an Exchange, even if it was clearly unconstitutional under Ohio law. He denounced the Medicaid expansion’s “large and unsustainable costs,” which “will just rack up higher deficits…leaving future generations to pick up the tab.” Then he went ahead and implemented it anyway. Worse, he did so unilaterally, after the Ohio legislature passed legislation prohibiting him from doing so (which he vetoed). When Republican legislators and pro-life groups filed suit to stop him, Kasich defended his power-grab all the way to the Ohio Supreme Court.
Now he’s being challenged on his plan to give, if elected to the presidency, blanket amnesty and eventual citizenship to all the illegals in the country, AND, throwing open the borders to anyone who wants to come in. Getting back to Breitbart:
Trump has zeroed in on Kasich’s heretofore overlooked push for massive amnesty. Though it has transpired without much attention, Kasich has quietly amassed a string of bizarre, peculiar, and extreme statements on immigration that places him to the furthest leftward reaches of not just the Republican President field, but the Democratic Presidential field as well.
Jeb! Bush’s campaign was sunk when he announced that Illegal Immigration was “An act of Love.” What Kasich has been saying, and which hasn’t been covered to any extent, is even worse. For instance:
Illegal immigrants are a “critical part of our society,” John Kasich told the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce last October. “For those that are here that have been law abiding, God bless them,” Kasich said—arguing that illegals “should have a path to legalization.”
On the GOP debate stage in February, Kasich told millions of American voters that enforcing the nation’s immigration laws is not “the kind of values that we believe in.”
“I couldn’t even imagine how we would even begin to think about taking a mom or a dad out of a house when they have not committed a crime since they’ve been here, leaving their children in the house,” Kasich said. “That is not, in my opinion, the kind of values that we believe in.”
Kasich likened deporting the illegal population to Japanese internment camps. “To think that that we’re just going to put people on buses and ship them to the border—look at our World War II experience where we quarantined Japanese—I mean it’s a dark stain on America’s history,” Kasich said in November.
And it gets worse. When it comes to ICE trying to do their jobs, he said:
Kasich told CBS last year that he does not support deporting the illegal population:
“I don’t think it’s right; I don’t think it’s humane.”
And then we have the topper to his remarks on how he will deal with criminal aliens after taking office.
In last Thursday’s CNN debate, Kasich told voters that he would enact the largest amnesty in U.S. history within his first 100 days in office. “For the 11 and a half million who are here, then in my view if they have not committed a crime since they’ve been here, they get a path to legalization. Not to citizenship. I believe that program can pass the Congress in the first 100 days,” Kasich said.
Thankfully, there is no way Kasich will be President of the United States. If he somehow sleazed his way in, and then did this, well, I wouldn’t want to be part of the Presidential Security Detail. To put it bluntly, it wouldn’t be one nut going after “President Kasich” it would be tens of thousands of furious and armed Americans. If you think I’m kidding, ask the families of people killed by criminal aliens. In another story on Breitbart, a mother who lost her son to one of these “Innocent Immigrants” suggested that Kasich visit her sons grave.
“It’s all so senseless,” Maureen Maloney said of the death of countless Americans at the hands of illegal aliens.
Maloney’s 23 year-old son Matthew was hit by a repeat-offending illegal alien drunk driver. Although Matthew survived the initial crash, he died as he was subsequently dragged a quarter of a mile—caught in the wheel well of the illegal alien’s pick up truck— as the alien sought to flee the crime scene. “Witnesses who saw [Matthew] pinned screaming under the truck ran out and pounded on the vehicle, crying out to the driver who kept going…'[Matthew] was alive for a good portion of it,’” wrote one report from the time.
Another parent has called Kasich a traitor. Dan Golvach’s son Spencer Golvach was sitting at a traffic light when an illegal alien drove up and shot him in the head. Again, from Breitbart:
Sen. Marco Rubio’s history of pushing to open America’s borders, Golvach explains, is nothing short of “treason.” Rubio and pro-amnesty politicians ought to “be brought up on charges for what they’ve done… and they should be punished for it,” he said.
A Texas resident and constituent of Sen. Ted Cruz, Golvach similarly laments that Cruz does not seem “really all that interested in protecting us from illegal aliens.”
Mr. Golvach left his bitterest remarks for the current Governor of Ohio and presidential candidate, John Kasich.
“[Gov.] John Kasich is the most traitorous of the bunch. What he’s proposing will end America,” Golvach says of Kasich’s desire to enact amnesty within his first 100 days in office.
“John Kasich is the poster-boy puppet for [his donors]. He couldn’t care less about what negative effect it [amnesty] would have on American workers, what negative effect it would have on American families. There would be no more America—he would finish us off. It’s just treason… I can’t stand him. And I guarantee you, find any other families of dead kids—a father of a dead kid like me—and they’d agree.
Kasich has made no attempt to talk with the families of people victimized by these criminals. Only Donald Trump, of all the candidates in both parties has talked with any of them. The reason why none of the other candidates have talked with these people is quite simple. They don’t care about protecting the United States or upsetting their donors.
Kasich is favored to win Ohio today with Trump running a very close second. Ohio is a “Winner take all” state with regards to the delegates, so this would mean Kasich would get them. It would also mean he won’t drop out of the race, and with the backing of the GOP(e) money people, he will stay in at least until they can get their brokered convention. At that point, they will toss Trump and Cruz over the side and anoint someone like Mittens Romney as the nominee. And after the election, we will be saying “Hello President-Elect Clinton.
