Good day all. Yesterday, the various candidates went to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee event to give speeches. We had Hillary Clinton, who has done a great deal to sell out Israel as Secretary of State, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Donald Trump.
I caught the last few minutes of Trump’s speech. This one was different from his usual style in that he actually had a prepared speech. He did deviate from it on occasion, but generally followed it. In the speech, he hammered the Iran cave in masquerading as a deal by Obama and Kerry, and went on to say he would tear up that excuse of a deal. He also said he would move the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something that the professional “Diplomats” have been against for decades.
He hit all the high notes, and from what I could see, may have won over more than a few people there. I understand that a number of Rabbi’s had a walkout all set to go, but I gather it never happened. I’ll let others discuss the speeches of the other candidates, but since I haven’t seen them I can’t comment on them. Trump’s speech is available on YouTube and I have it for your viewing pleasure.

The speech ran just under 25 minutes and I’ve since watched it. Trump seems to be looking at repairing the damage done by Barack Obama to the American/Israel relationship. He flat out told the United Nations to butt out of the issues between Israel, the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab Islamic world, and that any attempt by the UN to impose a settlement not agreed to by Israel, he would exercise the United State Veto.
I mentioned that I caught the last few minutes of Trumps speech when he was giving it. I had been tuned into Fox News to see what the “Wise Men/Women” usually on the round table with Brett Baier were talking about. I didn’t expect to see the Trump speech. The Round Table had two of the “Usual Suspects,” George Will and Charles Krauthammer.
As is usually the case, they didn’t like anything Trump had to say with Krauthammer going into full blown Trump Denial Syndrome. George Will wasn’t much better and I paid no attention the woman in the middle. Krauthammer and Will are part of the GOP(e) and understand that a Trump presidency means the end of their gravy train. This is why they are constantly hammering Trump, and why they have been so consistent in being so wrong about his candidacy.
I suggest that you watch the video and make your own decisions, much like the off duty Tuscon Arizona police officer did over the weekend. AIPAC did a great job of keeping the loony tunes out of the conference and the crowd was respectful, at the very least, to all the speakers. Personally, I think Israel will be much better off with a Trump, and probably a Cruz administration. Kasich is an untrustworthy joke, and we know who Cankles will support.
It’s whoever pays her the biggest bribes. As Trump said in his speech, “With President Obama in his final year…yeah!” Israel only needs to hold on for a little while longer…Unless Cankles Clinton somehow wins, and then it’s all over, for both Israel and the United States.
