Good day all, now that we have survived The End Of The World As We Know It!!! I thought I would bring up a video by a Tuscan, Arizona police officer who attended the Donald Trump rally last weekend.
The officer, who happens to be of recent African decent, attended the rally as a private citizen, not in his official capacity as a police officer. This video is in the process of going viral and is blowing apart the garbage we’ve been hearing that Trump is a racist, that the people who are supporting him are violent and racist, and that Trump is Evil Incarnate. (Well to the GOP(e) and the Democrats, he is, but they don’t count)
Rather than just talk about what the gentleman, whose name is Brandon Tatum, I’ll just let him speak for himself. The video is about 10 minutes and I suggest you watch, or listen to it all.

Welcome to the Trump Fan Club Mr. Tatum. Without a doubt, this video is going to cause many heads to go POP! We now have a trained professional who was observing the crowd and determining that the actual threats of violence were coming not from the Trump supporters, but from the anti-Trump, hard left wing protestors.
Mr. Tatum is like myself in some ways. I went to a Trump rally to see what Trump was all about, and what I saw and heard was radically different then what I was seeing and hearing from the Mostly Stupid Media. This is the true terror of the left and the GOP(e), that people will see Trump first hand, people who have not made up their minds, or are not wedded to their chosen candidate, and will decide to mark the ballot for Donald Trump.
Well, all I can say to those people is “Suck it up Buttercup!” Unless Trump has the nomination stolen from him at the Convention, the odds are he will be the nominee, and there is a very good chance he will be the next President of the United States.

I don’t trust Trump, he has espoused many leftist positions in the past. I think he will be a disaster for this country. However I know with absolute certainty that Hitlery or Bernie Stalin will be the death of it.
I wouldn’t trust a person who never changed their position or mind on anything. That would indicate a truly shallow intellect.
Personally, I’ve changed from pro-choice to pro-life with exceptions only for the life of the mother. I’ve also changed from admiring Pres. Lincoln to understanding that he was, arguably the one who changed it from “these united states” to The United states (yuuuge difference) 🙂
There’s a VERY large gray area between being so close-minded you aren’t even willing to consider the *possibility* that you *might* be wrong… and being so open-minded your brains fall out.
Some change can simply be the product of growing older and (at least theoretically) wiser. I suspect at least some of yours (and his) probably fits into that bucket. Some can be getting hit upside the head with reality, rubbing the bump on your noggin with a wince and going “ugh, that sucks” but having the guts to admit it and amend your previous opinions. Some comes from other sources too.
And some can just be saying what seems most expedient at the time. So I will agree with VonZorch in that I don’t trust him either. I don’t actively support him in any way. I won’t donate to his campaign or write paeans to him or whatnot. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he’s the best of an absolutely PUTRID lot by a WIDE margin. Even if he only does a quarter of what he promises, that’s a TON better than others who won’t even TRY to do ANY of it. (Or will try to actively hurt the country.)
I still don’t trust him. But the others are GUARANTEED disasters. When considered in that light, the #nevertrump lunatics look like the absolute idiots they are.
