May unemployment numbers bad

Good day all. The unemployment numbers for May 2016 have come out and they are, to say the least, really bad. Only 38,000 new jobs were created.

the_three_stooges

On the other hand, the Obama Unemployment level has dropped to 4.7% There’s just one small problem with that. The total number of people out of the workforce is at the highest in history. Here are a few details from CNSNews:

A record 94,708,000 Americans were not in the labor force in May — 664,000 more than in April — and the labor force participation rate dropped two-tenths of a point to 62.6 percent, near its 38-year low, the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday.

shocked-face

When President Obama took office in January 2009, 80,529,000 Americans were not participating in the labor force; since then, 14,179,000 Americans have left the workforce — some of them retiring and some just quitting because they can’t find work.

And what does that SCoaMF say about this? About what you would expect from Barack Obama.

“By almost every economic measure, America is better off than when I came here at the beginning of my presidency,” President Obama told the people of Elkhart, Indiana three days ago. “We cut unemployment in half, years before a lot of economists thought we would.”

liar-01

The unemployment rate in May dropped to 4.7 percent, BLS reported, less than half of its Obama-era high of 10 percent in October 2009. But the labor force participation rate has deteriorated over Obama’s two terms.

Here’s the deal. What King Putt looks at are the numbers of people that are collecting unemployment. That lasts about 6 months. Once you use up your unemployment insurance, the Labor Department stops counting you. Since you aren’t being counted, the unemployment number drops. In other words, it’s another lie by Barack Obama.

Obama truth

When Obama took office in January 2009, shortly before the recession hit, the labor force participation rate was 65.7 percent. The following month, it reached an Obama-era high of 65.8 percent, and then it began its seven-year downward spiral, hitting 62.4 percent in September 2015, its lowest point since 1977.

And this can be laid directly at the doorstep of Barack Obama and the Democrats. First they jacked up taxes. Then they shoved Obamacare down our throats. Then they raised taxes again. For the final nail in the coffin, the Obama Regime has been regulating businesses right out of business. We also have all the minimum wage workers demanding that it be raised to $15 per hour.

The Stupid

Guess what happened in those locations that rammed through the increases? Those minimum wage workers became to expensive to keep on the job and were fired. Their jobs were either spread out among the remaining workers or they were replaced by robots. So they went from earning about $8 per hour to earning….nothing.

headdesk

As someone who has been out of work for over 6 months, my unemployment benefits are now gone. I’m starting to burn through my savings. I have applied to over 400 openings since I was told my contract was ending last year. I’ve had a number of face to face interviews, dozens of telephone screens and have been told that I’m not wanted. Who do I blame for this? Easy. Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrats, to some extent the Establishment Republicans and the United States Government. Now you can see why I’m voting for Trump and not Cankles or Comrade Bernie. I want a job, not free stuff.

And most, if not all, of those jobs are low pay, part time jobs with no benefits.
