Apparently Governor Mike Pence. Good day all. I go to the grocery store for an hour and I come back with the news that Trump has chosen Mike Pence to be his running mate.
Currently, Michael J. Pence is the governor of Indiana. As I understand it, a decision had to be made now due to his need to file for reelection by tomorrow. I guess he’s decided that he wants to be VP.
There has been a lot of discussions on who Trump would pick. Several candidates took themselves out of the running, such as Senator Joni Ernst. When she bowed out, she recommended Mike Pence.
Newt Gingrich was also being talked about, but personally, I didn’t see him as VP. I do see a major role in the Trump Administration. Another possibility was Governor Krispy Kreme Chris Christie. I was dead set against him, but I also see him with a major role in Trump’s administration, perhaps cleaning up the mess at the Department of Justice.
It’s going to be interesting to see what the talking heads have to say tonight. Pence is well respected by the GOP. I can support him, and since his role will be to go to the funerals of heads of state, deal with the clowns in Congress and generally wait in the wings for Trump to kick the bucket. This race is getting better and better, and I think the RINOS4Hillary and the NeverTrumpers just took two in the back of the head, so to speak.
