Good day all. Last night, reports came in of another mass casualty attack in France. This time it was in the city of Nice, (Pronounced “Neese”). To date, over 80 people, including some Americans were killed in yet another assault by Islamic terrorists.
As always, the 72 hour rule applies. What we know so far is that one, possibly two Muslim men, (probably just one), used a large truck to run over hundreds of people celebrating France’s Bastille Day. There are also reports that that guns and hand grenades were also found in the cab of the truck. The driver, apparently a Muslim from Morocco, had no history of Radical Islamic behavior. How they can come to that conclusion, considering the way the Politically Correct suppress anything bad about Muslims, is beyond me.
There are many videos on YouTube posted by people on the scene. One video I saw was at the very beginning of the attack. The truck starts accelerating towards the crowd and what looks like local police are in pursuit, unfortunately, on foot. The truck used is what we in America call a “Semi” or an “18 Wheeler.” It’s essentially the largest commercial truck in regular service on the roads today, and weighs in at a good 20 tons.
The police were finally able to stop the terrorist, shooting and killing him. In the video I mentioned earlier, the police at that point had no shot at the terrorist, and probably no justification to shoot in any case. There are also reports that the terrorist starts firing on people as he drove past, but I have yet to see that confirmed.
The question now is, what happens next? I think this might be the incident that brings the hard right, (by European standards), to power in France. The current government has demonstrated that not only can’t it protect it’s citizens and visitors, it seems to not actually want to in the first place. We will see what happens when France, and probably the other European countries flooded with Islamic “refugees” hold their scheduled elections. I suspect the ruling elites will get one Hell of a surprise.
Our hearts go out to the families of those so brutally murdered by Islamic Terrorist scum, and we hope for a full and speedy recovery to those who were injured. To the French officers on scene? Nice shooting.
