Good day all. Yesterday, John Forbes Kerry, the Secretary of Stupidity State made a statement that the greatest threat America faces is….Air Conditioners!
John “Liveshot” Kerry is in a run for the money for the dumbest Secretary of State ever. I honestly think he’s surpassed Hillary Clinton. She, at least, knew how to secure bribes donations to the Clinton Slush fund Foundation for political favors speeches given by Bill Clinton. Kerry is just plain stupid. Here are some of the details on his latest idiocy from Fox News:
Secretary of State John Kerry said in Vienna on Friday that air conditioners and refrigerators are as big of a threat to life as the threat of terrorism posed by groups like the Islamic State.
The Washington Examiner reported that Kerry was in Vienna to amend the 1987 Montreal Protocol that would phase out hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, from basic household and commercial appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and inhalers.
Excuse me? And what will that be replaced with? Perhaps General Gigolo has forgotten that HFC’s replaced Freon because of the alleged damage it was supposedly doing to the Ozone layer.
“As we were working together on the challenge of [ISIS] and terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we–you–are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”
Kerry said that most of the substances banned in the Montreal Protocol have increased the use of HFCs and claimed that the coolant was thousands of times more potent than CO2. He added that the increase of HFCs has led to the trend of global climate change.
“The use of hydrofluorocarbons is unfortunately growing,” Kerry said. “Already, the HFCs use in refrigerators, air conditioners, and other items are emitting an entire gigaton of carbon dioxide-equivalent pollution into the atmosphere annually. Now, if that sounds like a lot, my friends, it’s because it is. It’s the equivalent to emissions from nearly 300 coal-fired power plants every single year.”
Do you know where this nonsense regarding CO2 causing global warming came from? Venus. The planet Venus’s atmosphere has a high level of CO2 in it. It’s also a lot closer to the sun so it does tend to get a bit warm there. On Earth, CO2 has another name. PLANT FOOD!
Members of the Montreal Protocol have met their obligations and have aided in the shrinking of the hole in the ozone, as well as created jobs and improved the quality of life, Kerry said.
I remember when they banned Freon. They did it because there was a “hole” in the ozone layer over Antarctica. In laboratories, Freon had a detrimental effect on ozone, but they really never showed how Freon released into the lower atmosphere could reach the ozone layer.
Also, as mentioned in the article, HFC’s are used in medical inhalers. Those are the little tubes people with asthma use to help their breathing when they have an attack, and basically, not die. I guess Kerry doesn’t care about the children who will now die slow, horrible deaths because they can’t get the medicine they need into their lungs. Not surprising since Captain Ketchup is one of the elite and doesn’t concern himself with the needs of the “Little People.”
This treaty will need to go to the Senate for ratification, and unless they have a replacement chemical ready to go that is equal to or less expensive then what we have now, I suspect there will be some serious questions regarding it and it could and should be rejected. Global Warming is a fraud as we all know and it’s time to put a stop to this nonsense.
