Survey sez, 28% of federal workers may quit

Good day all. We are slightly more than 24 hours away from “The Great Triggering”, when Donald J. Trump takes the oath of office and becomes the 45^th president of the United States of America. The 44^th President will take Golf Cart One and head off to a course somewhere.

When President Trump starts his new job, he will be looking at staffing levels in the Federal Government. He’s already planning a hiring freeze, not to mention a complete junking of 8 years of “work” by The Greatest Mistake in American History.” This has annoyed federal workers to the point that some 28% are saying they will quit their jobs rather then work for President Trump. Here are some of the details from Government Executive:

Less than two-thirds of the federal workforce is firmly committed to staying on the job following the election of Donald Trump as president, according to a new survey. More than one in four federal workers, or 28 percent, will definitely or possibly consider leaving their jobs after Jan. 20 when Trump is sworn into office and becomes leader of the executive branch, according to a new Government Business Council/GovExec.com poll.

Well now, if 28 percent of the worthless class resigns, that will make things much easier for the Trump Administration. However, there is a bit of wiggle room here. It’s the phrase “Possibly consider leaving.” That’s a loophole you could sale a Nimitz class carrier through while launching it’s strike wing.

The presidential campaign made very few federal employees feel better about their jobs; just 8 percent of respondents said the election had a positive impact on the perception of federal service, compared to 60 percent who said it had a negative impact.

For those who opt to leave government, their jobs could remain vacant for an extended period of time as Trump has vowed to freeze hiring across agencies immediately upon taking office.

And here’s where the Progressives get worried. Suppose that government services remain the same or even improve without those openings being filled? It will prove the case that Washington’s bureaucracy is to large, redundant and exists only for the benefit of whatever agency or department that lost people.

During the last governmental shutdown when Congress and Der Fubar were arguing over the budget, King Putt sent home all federal employees except those deemed “Critical.” Something like 85 percent, if I recall correctly, were classified as not critical. If that is the case, then we can easily lose 28 percent, and probably upwards of 50 percent of the Drones in D.C.

This is what scares the ever living crap out of the Beltway Uniparty. Losing federal workers means their jobs weren’t really needed. Since these might be constituents, (Another word for Democrats), this will affect the chances of reelection.

Then there is the issue for the Federal Employee Unions. If they lose that many dues paying members, they will have to cut back on their bribes donations to the Democrat Party. If they Unions can’t supply money to the Democrats, they will become irrelevant to the Progressive Democrats. It’s a vicious circle that the election of Donald Trump seems to have closed. With a little luck and hard work, that circle will turn into a noose around the Progressive Democrats necks.
