The Constitution has been saved

Good day all. Today, a new Associate Justice to the United States Supreme Court will be sworn in. Neil Gorsuch will replace the late, great justice Antonin Scalia, returning the Supreme Court to a general 5-4 majority in favor of the Constitution of the United States of America.

This has royally pissed off the Progressive Liberal Democrats, who tried to stop Judge Gorsuch from being confirmed. Originally, they tried to “Bork” him, but that failed completely. Next, Progressive Liberal Democrats threaten to filibuster the nomination, something that had never been done in the history of the United States. (There had been a threat or two in the past, but the nominee either pulled out or was withdrawn)

When Senator Upchuck Schumer began the filibuster, the Republican leadership in the senate actually grew a spine and instituted the “Nuclear Option” first used by then Senate Majority leader, Dingy Harry Reid. This reduced the Democrats to the level of fallout politically and Judge Gorsuch was confirmed Friday, April 7^th, 2017.

There were many political pundits on the left who pretty much begged Upchuck Schumer not to try and filibuster the Gorsuch nomination. The reason being, the odds that President Trump will be appointing three or more justices. The ones they are worried about are Ruth Bader-Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer and Anthony Kennedy. Bader-Ginsburg and Breyer are reliable hard left totalitarians who will always rule in favor of anything that restricts the rights of the American People and increase the power of the Government. Kennedy, well with him, it depends on what he had for breakfast.

All three are up there in age, and realistically, will either be forced to retire or flat out croak on the bench. This will enable President Trump to appoint their replacements and those judges will most assuredly not be Progressives who think the Constitution is a “Living Document.” In other words, their replacements will be judges who, like Gorsuch and Scalia before him, along with Justices Thomas and Alito, read the words and rule on what they say.

These sorts of judges are called called “Strict constructionists” or Constitutionalists. They don’t invent things that aren’t in the document or deny what it says in plain language. These sort of judges are death for Progressives, since they have, for the last few decades, relied on the courts to shove their perverted view of America down the throats of the American People. They generally can’t get what they want through the ballot box, so they rely on Progressive judges to “Override the will of the people” and stick it to them.

When Justice Scalia died last year, Obama put forth judge Merrick Garland. Garland is no friend of the 2^nd Amendment and has almost never met a federal regulation he didn’t like and approve of. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, in a move surprising everyone, stopped Garland from getting on the bench, waiting for the next president to take office. When it looked like Felonia von Pantsuit would win, people became very worried and a few of the RINO’s and GOP(e) types thought that they should approve Garland in case Felonia won and appointed someone worse.

With Trump’s stunning victory, the hopes and dreams of the Progressive Liberal Democrats came crashing down. Now we have a Constructionist taking office and the probable chance of 2-3 more in the coming years. Give a warm welcome to Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch. May always give wise and good rulings.
