Good day all. Georgia just held a special election to replace Representative Tom Price, who stepped down to take a cabinet position in the Trump administration.
The Progressive Democrats have been pushing some 30 year old, Jon Ossoff, as the “Trump Slayer.” The Republicans had some 11 people running for the open seat. There were some reports of possible shenanigans when a voting machine was stolen. There was also a report that there was some problems with the counting in one area, since resolved.
The race ended with no one getting a clear majority, leading to a runoff election in June between the two top vote getters, Ossoff and Republican Karen Handle. That race will be the one to watch. The Progressive Democrats decided early on to back Ossoff, while the GOP really had no single candidate they could gravitate around. Now they do.
I expect the campaign down there is going to be loud and expensive. I also suspect that the GOP voters who split the votes will put them all on Handle. However, in the end, it really isn’t important. This is just a special election to fill a seat. If it goes Democrat, it won’t do much for them, especially in 2018 when the winner will need to stand for reelection.
The Progressive Democrats with their propaganda arm, formally known as the Main Stream Media, are bound and determined to do whatever it takes to regain control and continue their work of ending the United States of America as a free, sovereign nation. They still refuse to understand how close this country is to Civil War, and just how far they have pushed this country to this point in their goal of gaining total, absolute power.
We shall see what happens in June in Georgia. I suspect that since the Republicans know who the enemy is, Mr. Ossoff is going to find the entire world landing on him. Perhaps he will finally move into the district he allegedly wants to represent.
