Good day all. Yesterday the story broke that the Russians had been engaged in a massive bribery scheme aimed at getting their paws on our Uranium assets. In the 24 hours since The Hill first reported the story, things have only gotten worse for the Obama Regime.
Now Congress is starting to get involved, and the words “Cover Up” are being bandied about. Senator Grassley is probing the potential for a Conflict of Interest by form Secretary of State Felonia von Pantsuit. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
A top Senate Republican is probing potential “conflicts of interest” for Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration regarding the 2010 approval of a controversial uranium deal with a Russian company, amid new details about donations from “interested parties” and an FBI corruption probe involving employees of the same Russian firm.
“This committee has an obligation to get to the bottom of this issue,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said Wednesday, at the start of a hearing with Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
This time, I think Grassley might actually accomplish something. He won’t be dealing with the Obama Regime and the outright refusal to cooperate with the Congressional Oversight Committees.
Asked about the concerns at Wednesday’s hearing, Sessions told Grassley the Justice Department will take “appropriate” actions.
“I hear your concerns and they will be reviewed,” Sessions said, without responding directly to a question from Grassley on whether the Justice Department has also probed whether the Russians “compromised” the Obama administration to “smooth the way” for the deal.
I think we need a special prosecutor to look into this. To be honest, I no longer trust the FBI to actually do an honest investigation. Since President Trump took office, we’ve seen one story after another coming out on just how badly corrupted the FBI and the Department of Justice had become under Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, James Comey, Robert Mueller and Barack Obama. It’s now coming out that witnesses who wanted to testify in front of Congress were threatened with arrest if they did so. Here are some detail on that from the New York Post:
It turns out the Obama administration knew the Russians were engaged in bribery, kickbacks and extortion in order to gain control of US atomic resources — yet still OK’d that 2010 deal to give Moscow control of one-fifth of America’s uranium. This reeks.
Peter Schweizer got onto part of the scandal in his 2015 book, “Clinton Cash”: the gifts of $145 million to the Clinton Foundation, and the $500,000 fee to Bill for a single speech, by individuals involved in a deal that required Hillary Clinton’s approval.
The New York Times confirmed and followed up on Schweizer’s reporting — all of it denounced by Hillary as a partisan hit job.
Since when has the New York Slimes been a partisan newspaper? Correction, when have the NOT been a partisan newspaper? Normally, the Slimes would flat out bury anything negative regarding Felonia von Pantsuit and Bubba Horndog. That they confirmed Schweizer’s reporting speaks volumes on the depths of the corruption in the Obama Regime.
But now The Hill reports that the FBI in 2009 had collected substantial evidence — eyewitnesses backed by documents — of money-laundering, blackmail and bribery by Russian nuclear officials, all aimed at growing “Vladimir Putin’s atomic-energy business inside the United States” in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The bureau even flagged the routing of millions from Russian nuclear officials to cutouts and on to Clinton Inc.
So why did Obama and his cronies cover up the fact that Felonia was selling out the country? Because Obama wanted to kiss up to Putin of course.
The Obama administration — anxious to “reset” US-Russian relations — kept it all under wraps, refusing to tell even top congressional intelligence figures.
“The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns,” one veteran of the case told The Hill.
Yet the administration let Moscow move ahead — publicly insisting that there were no national security worries — and no evidence of Russian interference, despite many lawmakers’ concern at the time.
There’s more: Until September 2013, the FBI director was Robert Mueller — who’s now the special counsel probing Russian meddling in the 2016 election. It’s hard to see how he can be trusted in that job unless he explains what he knew about this Obama-era cover-up.
If Trump was looking for a reason to fire that crook’s ass, this is it. As head of the FBI, Mueller would have had to know all about this. The fact that he didn’t speak out to Congress, or just resign from office when the cover up began speaks volumes about him.
Now, what would be the worst case scenario here? Assuming that investigators, either Congressional, DoJ or a Special Prosecutor, confirm that there was a wide spread move to cover up what the Russians were doing, we could see Robert Mueller, Felonia von Pantsuit, Bubba Horndog, any number of senior Obama White House officials, and perhaps Barack Obama himself being arrested and put on trial. Will this actually happen? It depends of course on what is actually found, and if Jeff Sessions has the balls to actually do his job. Meanwhile, time to order more popcorn!
