Could James Comey be disbarred?

Good day all. James Comey, former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, was fired earlier this year by President Trump. This caused the Beltway Uniparty to blow a gasket. Comey, showing what a real scumbag he is, leaked several memos to the Mostly Socialist Media.

It came out later that several of those memos had classified information in them, and that Comey had no right to have them in his possession, let alone the right to release them after he he was terminated from his position. Now that decision to try and screw over President Trump may cost him his law license. Here are some of the details from the Washington Times:

Former FBI Director James Comey’s decision to leak memos of his interactions with President Trump could come back to haunt him in a challenge to his New York bar membership.

Ty Clevenger, a lawyer who filed a grievance against Mr. Comey, said in a letter Friday to the New York lawyers’ disciplinary committee that if the fired director ended up leaking classified information it should bolster the case against him.

Earlier this week Sen. Charles E. Grassley revealed that Mr. Comey appears to have authored seven memos about his interactions with Mr. Trump. The government has deemed four of those seven memos to have classified information. Mr. Comey also leaked at least four memos to a law professor friend. Mr. Grassley says according to that math, at least one of the memos Mr. Comey leaked must have had classified information.

Comey’s actions as director of the FBI, ending with the white washing of the espionage case against Felonia von Pantsuit, appear to most Americans that the FBI can not be trusted. Comey, and before him, Robert Mueller, put the Beltway elite ahead of a number of things, such as the Constitution of the United States, the civil rights of people who weren’t Progressive Liberal Democrats, and of late, the national security of the United States. (Uranium One) As for Comey and the New York Bar?

Mr. Clevenger said that, (Leaking the memos), could run afoul of New York bar rules prohibiting a lawyer from engaging in “illegal conduct that adversely reflects on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer.”

If Mr. Comey deliberately leaked the documents, his breach of duty was analogous to willful breach of client confidentiality, and that reflects adversely on his ‘honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer,’” Mr. Clevenger wrote.

Considering that Comey has admitted that he did arrange the release of the memos in question, the investigation shouldn’t take long and should result in Comey’s disbarment. Of course, there is the question of their being an actual honest investigation. I won’t be at all surprised if the New York Bar investigates Comey in the same way he investigated Felonia von Pantsuit. By preparing his remarks clearing her and her cronies before the investigation was close to being completed. Still, there is hope. More then like a forlorn hope, but hope none the less that this corrupt scumbag will get some sort of punishment.

Hoping for a lot worse than disbarment. But then, (thanks John Lennon “You might say I’m a dreamer…”
