Good day all. Back when Felonia von Pantsuit was storing Top Secret, compartmentalized data on her well hacked and illegal mail server, a Navy submariner was looking at spending 10 years in a military prison for taking pictures where he shouldn’t have.
The story came out during the election when we found out just how badly the United States was compromised by Felonia von Pantsuit, and how the Obama Regime decided to basically cover the whole thing up and protect Felonia and her criminal co-conspirators. There is no question that the sailor screwed up, but what he did pales in comparison. Candidate Trump noted the patent unfairness during the campaign. Now he has made things right and issued the sailor a presidential pardon. Here are the details from Fox News:
Kristian Saucier, the former U.S. Navy sailor who served a year behind bars for taking photos of classified areas in a nuclear submarine, has been pardoned, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Friday.
Make no mistake, Saucier did screw up. The pictures he took were considered sensitive. He had no intention of passing them on to anyone. In his mind, he was taking pictures of his workplace. Compare this to Felonia von Pantsuit. She had Top Secret information on that basement server of hers. Some of it soe secret, that it should never have been allowed outside of the isolated networks the government has for just that sort of data. Not only did she ignore all laws and regulations, she then tried to cover up her actions. Saucier admitted he screwed up.
Saucier recently received a letter from the Department of Justice saying it was taking a new look at his request for a pardon. Although he was released from jail last year, he remained under house arrest.
Well, that’s over now. As far as the United States is concerned, Mr. Saucier is a free man and has all his rights as a Citizen of the United States of America restored to him. This includes his right to vote and his right to keep and bear arms.
President Trump had denounced the government’s handling of Saucier’s case, calling it a political move and saying it contrasted with the velvet-gloved response to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mismanagement of classified information through a private server.
And now, President Trump has corrected that injustice. It would be nice if Attorney General Sessions would actually do his job and put Felonia and her cronies, along with James Comey and all the others who covered up her crimes on trial. Still, first things first.
“The president has pardoned Kristian Saucier, a Navy submariner,” Sanders said in a press briefing Friday afternoon. “Mr. Saucier was 22 years old at the time of his offenses and has served out his 12-months sentence. He has been recognized by his fellow service members for his dedication, skill and patriotic spirit.”
“While serving, he regularly mentored younger sailors and served as an instructor for new recruits. The sentencing judge found that Mr. Saucier’s offense stands in contrast to his commendable military service. The president is appreciative of Mr. Saucier’s service to the country.”
Mr. Saucier made a mistake. The information he had, the pictures, never left his possession. It was never seen by anyone who wasn’t already cleared to see it. The level of classification, as I understand it, was pretty much the lowest level. At worst, Mr. Saucier should have been fined and possibly reduced in rank. Instead, the Obama Regime decided they wanted him destroyed to make themselves look good.
Saucier told Fox News that he couldn’t believe the pardon had finally come through until his wife emailed a picture of the document signed by Trump, who also called him Friday. Saucier said he feels liberated from the stigma of being a felon, and from the many limitations of house arrest, which precluded him from leaving the state.
“I feel I can hope for the future now,” Saucier said. “I can live a normal life. I can take my daughter to different places, I can do all these things with my family.”
Unfortunately. Mr. Saucier will never again have a government security clearance. However, having the felony conviction cleared from his record by the pardon will open up many opportunities that had been closed to him.
Saucier repeatedly said he recognized that he had made a mistake when he took the photographs to show his family the setting in which he worked. He maintained, though, that the treatment of him by federal authorities was overzealous.
“I thanked the president for helping my family get our lives back,” he said, referring to the call from Trump he received Friday night. “He’s got so much to do and to take the time to do something about this and to call me, it’s just amazing. I’m so overwhelmed.”
This is the difference between Felonia von Pantsuit and the Progressive Democrats. Mr. Saucier made a mistake and owned up to it. He was punished, far more severely then he should have been, even though he admitted his mistake. Felonia? She denies she did anything wrong and that everyone is out to get her. Well, I am out to get her. I want her to face the justice system just like Mr. Saucier. Unlike him, I want Felonia von Pantsuit to die in prison.
