Good day all. For the last year, the People’s Democratic Republic of Kalifornistan has been waging an undeclared civil war against the rest of the United States, primarily over things like Freedom of Speech, the right to keep and bear arms, and of course, protecting criminals in the country illegally.
The Kalifornistan state legislature recently passed a law that threatens anyone aiding the Federal government in rounding up illegal aliens with jail time. This new law is popular with the moonbat set, mostly infesting the coastal areas, but not so much with people in the rest of the state who have to deal with these scum. Now, the Orange County sheriff has basically told the State to pound sand. Here are the details from the Orange County Register:
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, whose leadership opposes the new California sanctuary law that limits cooperation with federal immigration officials, announced Monday that it is now providing public information on when inmates are released from custody.
As of Monday, March 26, an existing “Who’s in Jail” online database includes the date and time of inmates’ release – a move agency officials say will enhance communication with its law enforcement partners.
“This is in response to SB-54 limiting our ability to communicate with federal authorities and our concern that criminals are being released to the street when there’s another avenue to safeguard the community by handing them over (to ICE for potential deportation),” Orange County Undersheriff Don Barnes said.
So, basically, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can check the database each morning and have the wagon and handcuffs waiting when the criminal aliens are released. I suspect that all these criminals will be released out the same door too.
Orange County officials did not confer with ICE before making the change, he said.
Sure! Of course they didn’t! That singing telegram that arrived at the local ICE office was just a joke. True, the lyrics probably went something like: “Hey there good fellows, the best place to look while having your morning coffee is on this URL every morning before 7am. Doo dah, Doo dah day.” I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there weren’t a few friendly conversations at the local police watering holes either. *wink wink, knudge knudge, say no more.*
Needless to say, the usual suspects aren’t amused.
Annie Lai, co-director of the Immigrant Rights Clinic at UC Irvine, said the sheriff’s new policy is part of a movement in Orange County “to either undermine or get around the spirit of SB-54.”
The California Values Act already allows communication between local and federal agencies about release dates of those convicted of enumerated crimes who may be eligible for deportation, Lai noted.
“This change in policy is basically affecting everybody else who doesn’t have a serious criminal history under SB-54,” she said.
Sheriff’s deputies, however, will still not be able to assist in an actual transfer to ICE agents under state law.
Now for a response. First, illegal aliens are NOT immigrants. They are criminals. By their very existence inside the United States without proper documentation or permission, they are breaking the law. Their continued residence here breaks even more laws. A true immigrant goes to the nearest United States embassy or consulate, gets the proper forms, fills them out and sends them in. Or, in my case, I got the forms, contacted a lawyer for help, filled them out and sent them to the former Mrs. Webmaster for her part in the process.
We went through a bureaucratic nightmare to comply with the laws of the United States, but comply we did. What Ms. Lai and people like her are doing is subverting the laws of this country. They are aiding active criminals, some of them dangerous felons, in getting into this country.
The Kalifornistan politburo has all but declared itself and independent country. They are working with flat out traitors, and I mean that in the constitutional sense of the word, to end the United States as a free and sovereign nation. Unfortunately, they neglected to actually check with their subjects about this and the serfs are rebelling. I suspect the next idiot move by the Kalifornistan government will be to try and arrest one of these sheriffs or local governments. That might be all President Trump will needs to send in the Marines…literally.
