Good day all. Back in 2011, Barack Obama did something right. He green lit the SEAL raid into Pakistan to get Osama bin Laden. However, the decision to send in the SEALs was not something Quid Pro Joe Biden agreed with. He wanted to call Pakistan and have them arrest bin Laden.
Recently, President Trump turned the commanding general of the Iranian Quds Force into very tiny, extra crispy bits of road kill in Baghdad. All the Democrats have been screaming about taking out that scum sucking killer. Recently, Fox News asked Quid Pro Joe if, under similar circumstances, he would do the same thing. It seems that Slow Joe might have been having a bit of a memory lapse. Here are the details from Fox News:
Joe Biden is the only 2020 presidential candidate who was in the White House Situation Room as Navy SEALs descended on Usama bin Laden’s Pakistan compound in 2011. But a critical detail in his story about that mission has changed in the last eight years.
During a brief exchange with Fox News on Friday, the former vice president was presented with a hypothetical situation similar to the one President Trump says he faced before ordering an airstrike to kill Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
“As commander in chief, if you were ever handed a piece of intelligence that said you could stop an imminent attack on Americans — but you have to use an airstrike to take out a terrorist leader — would you pull the trigger?” Fox News asked Biden.
“Well we did – the guy’s name was Usama bin Laden,” Biden replied.
“Didn’t you tell President Obama not to go after bin Laden that day?” Fox News followed up.
“No, I didn’t,” Biden said.
During the discussions on going into Pakistan or waiting, Biden, who has never been on the correct side of any major decision, recommended against going in.
That’s not the story Biden told almost eight years ago during a retreat in Maryland for congressional Democrats, as he described a tense 2011 strategy session ahead of the raid.
“Mr. President, my suggestion is, don’t go — we have to do two more things to see if he’s there,” Biden had said in January 2012 of the strategy session.
Basically, Quid Pro Joe is lying through his teeth yet again, and he’s being called on it.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) hit back at Biden over Friday’s claim.
“This isn’t another instance of Joe Biden misspeaking, it’s an instance of Biden flat-out lying,” spokesman Steve Guest said.
Biden has always been a flat out liar. The truth is something he waves at as it sails past him and he comes up with yet another whopper.
At Friday’s event in Dubuque, Biden also argued that Thursday’s Trump-ordered airstrike targeting Soleimani crossed a dangerous line.
“No matter how rightly reviled he was in the West, he was a senior figure in the Iranian government,” Biden said.
So what? He was an enemy of the United States who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of our soldiers and marines. Of course, Quid Pro Joe doesn’t care about them. He’s worried about how things look to the rest of the word. Well guess what Joe? Most Americans don’t care what the rest of the world thinks. Whacking this dirt bag was the right thing to do.
As tensions increase in the Middle East following Soleimani’s death, Biden expressed mixed feelings about President Trump’s decision to send several thousand American troops to the region.
“I don’t know and you don’t know what the hell he’s done,” Biden told Fox News. “We don’t know if he’s coordinated with our allies, we have no idea what commitments he’s made, we have no idea. I just hope he has a plan for second and third iterations of this — but it’s clear there’s going to have to be more folks there to protect the embassy, to protect American personnel in Iraq.”
Well we certainly know how you would have handled things Joe. We only have to look at Benghazi to see what you would have done. That would have been…nothing. Some of the things we’re learning is that Soleimani was in Baghdad to coordinate a number of attacks against American forces and civilians in Iraq, Syria and other middle east countries. Blowing him away, along with the other terrorist leaders, has thrown a wrench into the works.
As for the 3000 soldiers? I have a suspicion that they won’t be doing simple guard duty. The 100 Marines that have already arrived can handle that. No, I think they will have another mission and that is going to put even more hurt on Iran’s plans for the region. Obviously, I don’t know, and without a doubt, President Trump isn’t going to tell the likes of Quid Pro Joe Biden anything about it.
