Good day all. Ever since President Trump took office and started working to remove the illegal aliens in this country, we have had Progressive Democratic CommuNazi run cities proclaiming themselves as “Sanctuary Cities” and actively working to prevent ICE from deporting the Illegal Aliens.
This has led to a number of problems, including Illegal Aliens who are convicted criminals, instead of being held for deportation, being released back into the population. These criminals then commit even worse crimes up to and including murder.
The Trump administration decided the time was ripe to begin cracking down on these cities. First, ICE would ignore any local or state laws preventing the agents from carrying out their duties, such as walking into a city courthouse and arresting an illegal alien who was dealing with the local court systems.
This has already led to one local judge being indicted and arrested for aiding in the escape of an illegal alien being sought by ICE agents. That judges case is still pending, and she has turned down any offered deals. Since this is a federal case, and this judge is an arrogant Moonbat, I suspect she is going to be convicted and made an example of.
This brings us to the next phase of shutting down the Sanctuary cities and states, cutting off their federal funds. Last year, the Trump Administration started withholding federal funds for various projects. As expected, the corrupt moonbats promptly ran crying to their pet judges and got a ruling requiring the federal government hand over the money. The Trump administration took this to the appellate courts and they ruled in favor of the Trump administration. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
A federal appeals court on Wednesday handed a major win to the Trump administration in its fight against “sanctuary” jurisdictions, ruling that it can deny grant money to states that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.
The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in New York overturned a lower court ruling that stopped the administration’s 2017 move to withhold grant money from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program, which dispenses over $250 million a year to state and local criminal justice efforts.
“Today’s decision rightfully recognizes the lawful authority of the Attorney General to ensure that Department of Justice grant recipients are not at the same time thwarting federal law enforcement priorities,” a DOJ spokesman said in a statement. “The grant conditions here require states and cities that receive DOJ grants to share information about criminals in custody. The federal government uses this information to enforce national immigration laws–policies supported by successive Democrat and Republican administrations.”
“All Americans will benefit from increased public safety as this Administration is able to implement its lawful immigration and public safety policies,” the statement said.
For instance, instead of releasing rapists and murderers back on to the streets, they will be picked up and shipped back to the third world hellholes they came from. You can expect this to be taken to the Supreme Court, and since President Trump put some actual constitutional scholars on the bench, as opposed to CommuNazi political hacks such as Sotomayor and Kagan, the rulings will probably be upheld.
These rulings and other actions being taken are driving the left absolutely insane. Instead of supporting and protecting American citizens and lawful resident aliens, they are doubling down on their support of illegal aliens. There are rumors that once President Trump wins reelection, the next phase will start and this may involve criminal charges against local and state elected officials. Well, throwing entire state legislatures into a federal prison would allow new people a chance to move up. It would also remind the Democratic CommuNazis that they too are bound by the laws and constitution.
