Iran putting Shahab-3 missiles in Venezuela?

There is a story starting to move around the internet regarding Iran putting Shahab-3 missiles into Venezuela. The story started in a German periodical called Die Welt ((Here is the article in the Original German)) and has started spreading slowly across the blogsphere. I stumbled across it this morning.

The Shahab-3 ((Technical Details of the Shahab-3 missile)) missile is basically a souped up Scud, but with far greater range. The version that Iran will put into Venezuela will be the MRBM ((Medium Range Ballistic Missile)) version which can hit the southern United States.

The Iranians have been working to develop a nuclear capability for this missile, (as well as trying to develop the actual nuclear weapons as well) for some time. I won’t bother with things like “Throw weight” and “Circular Error Probability,” since those terms are meaningless when it comes to nukes.

The Shahab 3 was also the missile tested by the Iranian regime in a manner that appears suited to conducting a strategic electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) attack by lofting a nuclear weapon into space and detonating it at several hundred miles altitude.   According to a blue-ribbon congressional commission, such an attack on this country would be “catastrophic.” By damaging or destroying our electrical grid and electronic devices, the nation would be swiftly reduced to a pre-industrial society.  The commission’s chairman, President Reagan’s Science Advisor Dr. William Graham, estimates that, within a year of such an EMP strike, nine out of ten Americans would be dead.

If Iran wants to destroy the U.S., and EMP blast is definitely the way to do it. Our society is so intertwined with electronics, that if this type of attack occurred it would mean the end of the country. It would also mean the end of Iran, Venezuela, and most of the middle east and the Islamic World.

“What do you mean?” you ask?

Simple. The United States would retaliate massively and disproportionately to any missile attack, especially one that destroyed out infrastructure. As the ones who initiated the attack or supplied the means, the U.S. would outright annihilate Iran and Venezuela.

When I say annihilate, I mean just that. Nothing would remain and most of the populations would be dead or dying. There is nothing that the idiot Obama could do to stop such retaliation. If he tried, at best he and Biden would be removed from office. At worst, the would be removed, tried for treason and hanged.

For those who don’t remember, (which will be most of you), back in 1962 the Soviet Union tried to set up MRBM’s in Cuba. Because of this threat, the president at the time, John Kennedy ordered a blockade of Cuba.

The world was literally on the brink of nuclear war, but cooler heads prevailed and the Cuban Missile Crisis ((Cuban Missile Crisis summery)) was resolved.

Now, however, we have the most incompetent president in the history of the United States. He has absolutely no clue about how much the Iranians and Chavez hates the U.S. The Iranian won’t hesitate for a moment to launch against the U.S. if they get the chance, and an EMP detonation would be just the ticket.

What has been Obama’s and the Democrats answer to potential missile threats? Shut down the anti-ballistic missile system that Bush was putting into place. The progressive left wing democrats have been utterly and totally opposed to defending this nation since the early 1970’s.

Now we are seeing the reason President Reagan was so adamant in rejecting Soviet and Liberal demands to scrap the Strategic Defense Initiative. He knew that this system would, if not stop an all out soviet attack, would screw up the Soviet Union’s targeting strategy. The Soviet planners had expected to send one nuclear warhead against a target would now have to send 2 or three and even then they couldn’t be sure the target would be hit.

Reagan also believed that being able to destroy an inbound missile attack would provide him and his successors with options. If the missiles that an enemy sent were destroyed and we suffered no damages or casualties, then the president would not have to kill millions of people. He, (or she), would have time to consider how to respond to an attack.

Obama, on the other hand, doesn’t believe in stopping an attack on the United States. He has proven this repeatedly since his inauguration at the cost of dozens of American lives. He has already canceled the deployment of ABM’s to Poland arranged by President Bush.

The Democrats and other leftists, (But I am repeating myself), have repeatedly shown themselves to be utterly immoral and quite willing to slaughter billions of people so they can force their version of Utopia ((Utopia defined)) on the survivors. People and nations having the ability to resist the imposition of the Progressive’s ideals are to be stopped at all costs according to the Elites.

Now, we finally have a rogue state, (Actually two of them), that want to install missiles capable of hitting the United States. What has been the response so far from the Obama tyranny? Dead silence. Obama actually supports what Hugo Chavez is doing to Venezuela. They are two peas in a pod. I guess we’re lucky that Chavez is dumber then a stump, otherwise Obama would be down there right now signing a treaty handing over everything to that fat little turd.

The morons actually believe that Chavez and Iran having the means to kill millions of Americans is a good idea ((So long as it’s the “correct” millions that get killed)). In their perverted world view, there is nothing special about the United States and in fact we are evil and should be forced to bow to the wishes of better nations. Of course, their ideas of better nations are those that are run by dictators and tyrants.

The way I see it, depending on logistics, the missiles will be installed into Venezuela along with the announcement that they are nuclear tipped. Then they will start threatening to launch them against the United States if we don’t kowtow to their demands. Chavez will also use this as his way of conquering south and Central America.

If Obama and the democrats are still in power when this happens, then the United States will accede to the demands of Chavez and Iran. Of course, when the next election occurs, Obama will be booted out of office along with the rest of the Progressive Liberal Democrats, (There I go again, repeating myself), and the next president will most likely do something really nasty.

The best way to avoid all this is for the Obama Tyranny to actually put this county and its constitution, the one he swore an oath to, (Which he managed to botch) ((The first of his many many screwups)), first and deal with Chavez and Iran in the only way they understand.

Don’t just take what I have to say as gospel. Do the research and see for yourself. Then call your senators and representatives and ask them what is going to be done about this. ((I would wait until the new congress is sworn in. The current one has proven its self to be completely useless))
