Good day all. Today is “THE DAY!” It is Superbowl Sunday, the most important day of the year to millions of Americans. I don’t happen to be one of them.
Until I looked it up a few minutes ago, I didn’t know who was actually playing this year. Hmmm, The San Francisco 49ers Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. (I actually went to last year’s game which is why I got the 49ers) As you can see, I’m ever so involved in the game. Now my Real World Job is involved. Several of our clients consider this to be their biggest day ever, bigger then Black Friday and bigger then New Years.
One of my Real World Coworkers will be monitoring things for one of our clients while he is also watching the game. Me, I’m doing what I usually do on Stuporbowl Sunday, I’m ignoring it completely. I’ll be reading a book or mainlining Netflix or something. (Or shoveling the damn snow that’s decided it’s a good time to fall) For the rest of you, have fun and don’t take it to seriously. After all, this isn’t South America, (Yet), and it’s not Soccer.
