Good day all. The Fake President has been demanding that states that have been reopening and ending the Face Diaper mandates reverse course and lock down again. The basic answer from these states, (Almost all of them “Red” states), has been simple.
This, of course, has led Fauci the Fascist to decry the horrible, evil, ungood superdooper bad people running the states as not caring about “The People.” Fauci and the Deep State slime at the CDC have been lapping up all the power, glory and budget increases they’ve managed to get thanks to the Panicdemic.
They fully expected that Texas and Florida would be hauling away corpses in dump trucks. (Maybe hoping it would happen) However, something rather odd happened. Instead of stacking up the dead like cord wood, the number of cases has actually dropped. Here are the details from the Foundation for Economic Freedom:
On March 2, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced he was lifting all government restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19.
“I just announced Texas is OPEN 100%, Abbott tweeted. “EVERYTHING. I also ended the statewide mask mandate.”
Abbott’s decision caused a stir among politicians and public health experts, though numerous other states had been operating without restrictions for months.
“Governor Abbott’s failure to listen to science and medical advice will cost Texans their lives,” Rep. Joaquin Castro warned in a statement. “The easiest thing everyone can do to slow the spread of COVID is to wear a mask and keep a social distance.”
“These states’ lifting of measures … are quite premature,” Jennifer Nuzzo, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, told the BBC.
“They’re trying to do a good job of keeping everybody safe. Of course they want to open up. But getting rid of masks just seems ignorant to me,” said San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich .
There was just one teensy weensy little fly in all that ointment.
“Coronavirus cases have dropped to a record low in Texas roughly three weeks after the state lifted its mask mandate and reopened businesses,” Newsweek reports.
“According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, at least 1,900 new virus cases were reported on Sunday, which is the lowest daily number the state has seen since early June,” Newsweek reports. “Data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the seven-day moving average number of cases in Texas dropped to the lowest level since mid-June.”
Oh how the CDC is probably hating that Texas’s numbers are dropping. Still, there is hope. They have tens of thousands of diseased illegal aliens currently storming across the border. No doubt they will jack the number up through the roof, especially since they’re packed in like sardines into the Border patrol holding facilities.
In the meantime, other states that have told the CDC, Fascist Fauci and the Fake President to go pound sand, are also seeing a marked decrease in the numbers of infected people. (Infected as opposed to actually sick. A fair number have mild to no symptoms)
The same day Abbott made his announcement, Mississippi declared that it too was lifting all state restrictions. Mississippi’s case pattern looks markedly similar to Texas’s.
Despite the widespread warnings that Texas and Mississippi were needlessly risking the lives of their citizens, both states saw cases and deaths decline after lifting all restrictions. Why?
I think the answer can be summed up very simply. The whole Covid-19 Pandemic was nothing more then a scam. I don’t believe there was an active group of conspirators working to basically scare the crap out of people and use it to assume dictatorial powers. I think it was incompetence, corruption and stupidity tied in with certain individuals and groups political desires.
There is an article, part of a series, written by Jack Kerwick about the problems with the number of deaths attributed to the China Virus. It makes for some very interesting reading, and he refers to researchers who were looking at the statistics and found a number of very questionable things. I suggest that you review it and make your own decisions. It may go a long way towards explaining why the sudden drop in reported cases. The other is people just taking responsibility for their own actions, and taking whatever precautions they feel they need to.
One answer might be that residents in Texas and Mississippi continued to take sensible precautions, as public health officials in these states recommended. For example, Thomas Dobbs, Mississippi’s state health officer, urged people to continue to use discretion and exercise caution despite the absence of legal restrictions.
“Do stuff outdoors, don’t group together indoors with a lot of folks,” Dobbs said at a press conference with the governor when it was announced restrictions were ending. “You can catch COVID. And we can mess this up.”
You could also catch a cold or the regular flu. Speaking of which, have you noticed how no one seems to be getting sick with anything else BUT the Wuhan Flu? That is due to all the other seasonal illnesses basically being ignored or miscategorized, (either accidentally or intentionally), as Wuhan Flu.
From the beginning of the pandemic, there was a fear that Americans wouldn’t exercise caution and prudence absent the heavy hand of force. But this concern was always overblown. Evidence shows Americans were taking precautions well before government officials imposed sweeping restrictions.
Funny thing that. The Uniparty always assumes that Americans are incapable of making their own decisions about anything important. This is why they must be ordered to do things “For their own good.” The worst offenders in the Uniparty is the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi wing. They refuse to let people alone.
The Republicans, at least those in the Deplorable wing, generally let people make their own decisions, and saw their job as being to give them every bit of information available, and also offer advice. In other words, they trusted people to make their own choices. (See Governor Noem of South Dakota for example. Yes I know about the current kerfluffle on a bill she vetoed. Different subject)
“Americans living in red states appear to have taken the crisis plenty seriously; data shows that residents there were staying home well before their governors issued stay-at-home orders,” FiveThirtyEight pointed out back in May, citing research from Cuebiq, a private data company that assessed the movement of people via GPS data.
This suggests that people are more than capable of taking precautions—maintaining space, washing hands, wearing a mask—that they feel are reasonable without being forced.
Using force in the case of the pandemic seemed natural to many because it sprang from a desire to protect people from a deadly virus, but this was a mistake.
“Whenever we depart from voluntary cooperation and try to do good by using force, the bad moral value of force triumphs over good intentions,” the Nobel Laureate economist Milton Friedman observed in his book Is Capitalism Humane?
Pity that the massive herd of Karens never heard of, let alone read Milton Friedman’s book. But then Karens aren’t noted for letting people alone. Live and let live is considered swearing by your average Karen.

The failure of lockdowns and other various government restrictions are still in stage two. But stage three is rapidly approaching.
Never, ever underestimate the block headed stupidity of the average Progressive Liberal politician. Once they decide something is good for them, (Increasing their personal wealth and/or power), they will hold onto it like a hungry shark holds on to a tasty cow. We’re seeing that now in the Blue States, such as Kalifornistan, New York and the other states run by the progressives.
In Kalifornistan, Govno Gavin Gruesome Newsom is facing a recall and will probably be tossed out of office on his ear. In New York, Flaming Cuomo is looking at impeachment and possible criminal charges, albeit not for the 15,000 people who’s deaths he caused, but for manhandling women. Texas and other states have seen the writing on the wall as it were, and are admitting that major mistakes were made and are opening for business. Those in love with “Science” now have to reconcile actual science with their “Feelz” and desires for absolute control over people. Somehow, I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
