Confirmed, the Kalifornistan Recall is ON!

Good day all. Despite every lie and dirty trick that Newsom could come up with, the Kalifornistan Secretary of State has confirmed that enough signatures have been provided to trigger only the second recall of a Kalifornistan governor in history.

Last April, petitions were submitted to the Secretary of State’s office with the requisite number of signatures to trigger a recall. While the petitions contained a “Bullet proof” number, there are legal forms and processes that the Secretary of State had to follow. Those processes have been completed and it’s been confirmed that the petitioners met the requirements to schedule a recall election. Here are the details from The Hill:

California’s secretary of state confirmed on Wednesday that the effort aimed at recalling Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has enough signatures to trigger an election. The confirmation from the secretary of state’s office comes after it announced in April that the recall effort had enough signatures to qualify for the ballot.

According to the Hill article, people are given 30 business days to withdraw their signatures from the petition. This option was taken by a grand total of 43 people. This left in place 1,719,900 verified signatures. Now the election isn’t going to happen next week. There are still a few things that need to be done.

The California Department of Finance will now be tasked with estimating the costs of the recall election, both as a special election or if it is part of the next regularly scheduled election, according to the secretary of state’s office. The department will have 30 business days to complete the calculations.

The Joint Legislative Budget Committee will then have 30 days to review and comment on the estimated costs. After that, the secretary of state will then certify the signatures, allowing the lieutenant governor to set a date for the election between 60 and 80 days later.

As you can see, this is intentionally a time consuming process. You can rest assured that the Progressive numbskulls in the state government will use every single day to postpone what we all hope is the inevitable, that Gruesome Gaven Newsom will become the second Kalifornistan Governor to be removed from office.

A petition to recall Newsom was first introduced in February 2020, before the country imposed COVID-19 restrictions, according to ABC 7. The petitioners were frustrated with how the governor dealt with a number of issues, including immigration, homelessness and property taxes.

The petitions using those criteria were, sadly, going nowhere fast. Then came the Great Panicdemic of 2020 and Numbnuts Newsom using it as an opportunity to assume dictatorial power.

Anger at Newsom, however, escalated amid the coronavirus pandemic, when some Californians criticized the governor for his reopening effort and being photographed dining at a restaurant while tight restrictions were enacted in the state and most Californians were being urged to stay home.

So, it looks like the recall election will happen sometime this fall. The last one resulted in the removal of then governor Gray Davis. That was also the first successful recall drive in Kalifornistan since the procedure was put into place. Now it looks like we may have another Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi booted from office. As to who will replace him?

A number of candidates have already announced campaigns to take on Newsom, including Olympic gold medalist and reality television star Caitlyn Jenner, who is running as a Republican. Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer (R), businessman John Cox (R) and former Rep. Doug Ose (R) are also in the race to oust Newsom.

Jenner is not going to win. There isn’t going to be a primary to replace Newsom if he is booted. As I understand it, there will be two questions on the ballot. First, do you want Newsom kicked out of office? If that passes, he’s done, and then the second question, as it were, kicks in. That one is “Which of these idiots do you want to replace Numbnuts Newsom?” I believe it’s whoever wins the highest percentage of the votes that wins, even if it isn’t a clear majority.
